Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the protection of an article in transit by a method wherein the surfaces in contact with the article placed into a case are so arranged as to be located outside and a cushioning body in contact with at least eight places of the article and a shape retaining means to give to the cushioning body such shape as to conform to the four corners in the case are provided. CONSTITUTION:A cushioning body 3 consisting of an expandable resin such as styro-foam is shaped into the form of a column having the same height as that of the inner wall of a case 1 and a L-shaped cross section and the two outer faces thereof are brought into contact with the two inner faces of a corner of the case 1. The four corners of the case 1 serve also as a shape retaining means for the cushioning body 3 to retain the elastic nature of the cushioning body 3. An article is placed into the case 1 with one of its corners in contact with the two inner faces of the cushioning body 3, i, e. all of the corners in contact with the eight inner faces thereof. By the provision of such case cushioning, the shocks of vibrations or external forces in transit are alleviated by the elasticity of the cushioning body 3 to protect the article 2 therefrom.

[Conventional technology] Conventionally, when packing crystal products in boxes, a buffer material such as cardboard or foam is placed between the product and the box to prevent the product from shifting due to vibration during transportation or damage due to external forces. It is interposed and protected. When making the above-mentioned cushioning paper from foam such as styrofoam, a mold is used to mold it to match the product shape and box shape, but depending on the number of products produced, the depreciation cost of the mold increases and the packaging cost increases. 1. was expensive. Furthermore, when the cushioning material is made by cutting or pasting cardboard, it is often time-consuming to assemble the cushioning material.

For this reason, for example, a technique disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 63-612 has been proposed. This involves folding a sheet of cardboard or cardboard to assemble an isosceles triangular cylinder, and forming a cutout window for inserting a part of the product corner on the cylinder surface corresponding to the base of the isosceles triangle. , two cylinder surfaces of equal sides are overlapped to form a buffer shrine, which is installed at the four corners of a rectangular parallelepiped box. As a result, the product is supported at four locations around its peripheral corners and is housed and protected in the box. The buffer magazine is easy to produce and assemble because it is only necessary to cut out a sheet of cardboard or cardboard to form predetermined folding lines and cutouts.

[Problem to be solved by the invention] However, the above-mentioned Utility Model Publication No. 6 3-6 1. The technology in Publication No. 2 increases the protection of the product by doubling the two layers that come into contact with a part of the corner of the product, but in the case of products that are vulnerable to impact, the thickness of the cushioning material There are many cases where the required buffering effect cannot be obtained due to insufficient amount.

1,000 Steps to Solve Problem 1" The in-box buffer according to the present invention has a structure in which the surface that contacts the articles stored in the box is molded on the outside, and the surface molded on the outside is formed on the inside. Then, the buffer main body, which is placed in the four corners of the box 1 and comes into contact with at least 8 places of the items stored in the box, is moved through the shape retaining means and is placed in the 4 corners of the box.
The shape of the wooden body is maintained at the four corners of the box.

[Function] In the present invention, the shape of the buffer body is changed by passing through a thousand stages of shape retention, and the shape of the buffer body is maintained at the d corner of the packaging box, and the surface that comes into contact with the article stored in the packaging box is used to maintain the shape of the buffer body. Because the item is brought into contact with 8 points of the item stored in the box, if shock is applied due to vibration or external force during transportation, the impact is alleviated by the bullet t'L of the buffer body, and the item is protected.

3 In Figures 1 and 2, (1) is a substantially rectangular box made of cardboard, etc., (2) is the article stored in the box (1), and (3) is the four corners of the box (1). This is a buffer paper main body interposed between the article (2) and four corners of the article (2). The buffer main body (3) is made of foamed resin such as styrofoam, and is shaped into a column with an L-shaped cross section at the same height as the inside of the box (1-). The surface is in contact with the inner side 2 of the corner of the box (1-). (3a) is a slit provided in the center of the buffer body (3), and (3b) is a hinge portion.

The buffer body (3) is made by using a mold, as shown in Figure 2, with a slit (3a) in the center.
It is formed by molding it into a letter shape 7 and inverting it using the hinge part (3b) as a fulcrum. Of course, it is possible to form the cushioning material main body (3) into a predetermined L-shape from the beginning, but by shaping it as in this example, the size of the mold can be made somewhat smaller. Furthermore, since it can be manufactured by extrusion molding, the unit price can be reduced. In particular, when the slits) to (3a) are reduced to about 1 mm or less at a maximum opening width of 5 4 , the mold dimensions can be significantly reduced.

This buffer material main body (4) is also made of a resin foam such as expanded polystyrene in the same manner as the buffer shrine main body (3), and is made using a mold so that its cross section is approximately circular as shown in FIG. After forming into the shape, invert using the hinge part (4C) as a fulcrum,
As shown in FIG. 4, it is formed into a substantially L-shape. Although it is naturally possible to form the mold into the shape shown in FIG. 4 from the beginning, in the case of this example, the mold size can be reduced by 7 mm.

This embodiment can also be used in the same way as the in-box buffer of the previous embodiment. In particular, in this embodiment, since the two inner surfaces of the cushioning material main body (4) protrude inward in an arc shape, even if the article (2) is somewhat large, the protrusion of the material crystal (2) can be easily removed. Pushed in. For this reason, the article (2) is held in a more stable state because all corners are securely in contact with each other.

Therefore, according to the fourth embodiment, since the article (2) stored in the box (1-) is held by the buffer paper main body (6), shocks caused by vibrations and external forces during transportation can be alleviated. can. In addition, the buffer body (6) is adjusted to the inside height of the box (1) to increase the vertical strength of the box (1-), so the article (2) can be reliably protected. . In particular, in the fourth embodiment, the triangular sleeve (6C) and the triangular sleeve (6d) are attached to the bottom end of the buffer body (6).
