Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a pattern having depth near to that of a natural stone to an artificial stone by applying a patterning agent having the same type color as a primary coat film and subsequently dripping a liquid extremely low in surface tension on an entire surface in a density pattern before forming a top coat film. CONSTITUTION:After a primary coat film 2 is formed to the surface of a base material 1, a film of a patterning agent 3 is formed. The color of the patterning agent is set to the same type color as the base coat color of the primary coat film 2. After the solvent at the time of the coating with the patterning agent 3 is evaporated, the base material 1 is arranged so that the film of the patterning agent 3 becomes an upper surface and a liquid (solvent) 4 extremely low in surface tension is applied to the film of the patterning agent 3 so as to form spots or a plurality of lines and the patterning agent 3 is moved using the liquid 4 as a carrier to be carried and gathered between adjacent liquids 4, 4. When the liquid 4 is evaporated, the patterning agent 3 is unevenly distributed and a stone pattern like a marble pattern having delicate depth by the contrast of light and shade can be expressed. A top coat film 5 is formed thereon.

[Jubei technology] Natural stones such as Jubei-gara large burial stones are used as building materials, but natural stones are heavy, break easily, have poor workability, are susceptible to chemicals such as acids, and suffer from freezing damage due to water absorption. Recently, artificial stones such as artificial marble, which is formed by applying a stone pattern such as a marble pattern on the surface of a base material, have been used in place of natural stone because of its disadvantages such as being easy to cut.

In order to solve this problem, the applicant of this patent previously filed Japanese Patent Application No. 1-51526 and Japanese Patent Application No. 1-51525. This is done by forming a base film on the surface of the base material, then applying the dye to almost the entire surface of the base coat, applying a solvent on top of the dye, and allowing the solvent to move the dye.
A clear top coat film is formed on top of this.

According to this coating method, since it is not a printing method, there is no need for plate making, and it is possible to express a wedge pattern that is not uniform.Furthermore, it is possible to form a wedge pattern regardless of the size of the base material or the presence or absence of unevenness, which eliminates the above-mentioned problem. This solved the problem, but there was the following problem. In places where the coating thickness is thin, such as with gA materials, the hiding power of the pattern coating is low and it is affected by the color of the base coating. Therefore, the pattern coating If the color tone of the patterning agent and the base coat color of the underlying coating are different, the base foot color will be stronger in areas where the patterning agent is thinner. Also, the base foot color will be stronger in areas where there is no patterning agent, and the color tone will be stronger in areas where the patterning agent is thinner. There is a large difference in color g between areas with and without appendixes, and areas where the patterning agent film is thin and thick. There was a problem in that it was difficult to express the image (which becomes thinner as it goes in).

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the coating method of the present invention forms a base coating film 2 with hiding properties on the surface of the base material 1, and coats the base coating film 2 with a dye of similar color. Alternatively, a pigment patterning agent 3 may be applied to almost the entire surface of the base coat 2, and a liquid (solvent) 4 with extremely low surface tension may be dripped onto the entire surface in granular form from above the dye or pigment patterning agent 3. Alternatively, by continuously applying multiple lines at predetermined intervals, the patterning agent 3 is moved by the liquid 4 to form a cloud-like, linear, etc. pattern with shading, and then clear paint is applied on the pattern. Alternatively, it is characterized by forming a top coat film 5 such as a color clear paint.

First, in the base coloring step, a base coating film (pace coat coating film) 2 is applied to the surface of the base material 1 to form it. The purpose of the f base coatings 11 and 22 is to hide the base color of the base material 1 and to color the base color, and it is preferable to use an enamel-based paint that has concealing properties and coloring effects. Coating can be carried out by any method using a roll coater, a 7-roll coater, a 7-roll coater, a sprayer, etc., either alone or in combination.

After forming the base coating film 2 on the surface of the base material 1 in this way,
A film of a dye or pigment patterning agent 3 is formed on the base coating film 2. The patterned color of the patterned shavings 3 made of dye or pigment is similar to the base coat color of the base coating film 2. The dye or pigment patterning agent 3 is prepared by dissolving the patterning agent 3 in a solvent and applying it over the entire surface of the base coat 2, so that it has a uniform film thickness as shown in FIG. 1(a). A film of the patterning agent 3 can be formed. At this time, organic solvents such as ester-based and ketone-based solvents can be used. For example, if the patterning agent 3 is a dye, it is dissolved at a ratio of about 3 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the solvent. By applying with a roll coater, spray, etc.

Next, after vaporizing and blowing off the solvent used when applying the patterning agent 3, the base material 1 is placed so that the film of the patterning agent 3 is on the top surface, and a liquid (solvent) with extremely low surface tension is applied. 4 to patterning agent 3
Apply on top of the film. The liquid 4 is applied by spraying, for example, over the entire surface of the base material 1 as shown in FIG. 1(b).
This is done by using a tube 6 or the like to drop the liquid in a droplet pattern at many locations. Another method, as shown in FIG. 3, is to drop the liquid 4 from multiple locations on the head 7 of a coating device such as a 7-low footer, and to send the substrate 1 toward the head 7 in the direction of arrow A. The liquid 4 can be applied in a plurality of parallel lines by moving the head 7 or moving the head 7 in the direction of the arrow B relative to the base material 1. As this liquid 4, it is preferable to use a well-known solvent such as an ester type, a ketone type, or an alcohol type, that is, a liquid with a low surface tension and a low boiling point, and it is possible to use a single type or a mixture of multiple types. ,
When collecting and reusing, it is best to use one type alone. If you apply the liquid 4 dottedly on the patterning agent 3 like this, or apply it in multiple lines, the liquid will spread! @2 As shown in Figure (a), the liquid 4 acts as a carrier and moves the patterning agent 3, and the patterning agent 3 is carried between adjacent liquids 4 and collects.
Thick parts and thin parts of the patterning agent 3 may be formed, forming a cloud-like shade of color, or thicker parts and thinner parts of the patterning agent 3 may be formed alternately in a linear pattern. As a result, color shading is formed in a linear manner. Since the liquid 4 is evaporated in a short time after being applied, the patterning agent 3 is carried along with the liquid 4 without being dissolved in the liquid 4. Therefore, as the liquid 4, it is preferable that the dissolving power of the patterning agent 3 is not too high. Then, when the liquid 4 is evaporated (volatilized), the patterning agent 3 remains in an unevenly distributed state as shown in FIG.
By contrasting the shading due to the uneven distribution of 3, it is possible to express stone wedges such as large buried stoneworks with a subtle depth that cannot be obtained with the Pudding F method. Here, the state of movement of the handle shaving 3 changes depending on the amount of the liquid 4 to be applied, the area at the time of application, the interval of the liquid 4 to be applied, etc., and the degree of spread of the liquid 4 also becomes thicker each time. By changing the uneven distribution of the agent 3, it is possible to change the shading or the combination of colors, and a uniform pattern can be expressed.

At this time, since the base coat color of the base coating film 2 and the patterning color of the patterning agent 3 are similar colors, a more subtle change in the pattern can be obtained. In areas where patterning agent 3 is thin, the pattern is a little darker than the base color and the pattern is in the middle (deeper areas), and in areas where patterning agent 3 is thicker, the pattern is the color of patterning agent 3 and the pattern is on the surface. If the thickness of the patterning agent 3 gradually becomes thinner, it is possible to create a pattern in which the pattern deepens from the surface to the inside.
In this way, by making the patterning color of the patterning agent 3 and the base coat color of the base coating film 3 similar colors, the depth of the pattern found in natural stone and artificial stone is more expressed, and the pattern is more similar to natural stone and artificial stone. It is possible to express patterns.

As described above, the liquid 4 is applied to form a pattern using the patterning agent 3, and after this liquid 4 is blown off, a top coat film 5 is formed thereon as shown in FIG. 1(e). Top coat yA5 is used to add surface hardness, light resistance, chemical resistance, moisture resistance, etc., and to obtain depth of pattern, surface gloss, surface smoothness, etc. It is preferable to use a two-component type such as a polyester type, acrylic type, or urethane type or an ultraviolet curing type clear paint. Further, it is preferable to form a color clear top coat YA5 as this clear paint. Color clear paint is made by adding coloring pigments to regular clear paint, and it has both a coloring effect and transparency, and can emphasize the depth of the pattern. Therefore, it is suitable for top coat coating. By making the film 5 color clear, it is possible to express more depth and color changes than with transparent clear. In order to effectively create more depth, it is better to make the top coat film 5 thicker so that it is not overcoated multiple times. The coating for forming the top coat film 5 can be carried out by any method using a roll coater, a seven-row footer, a spray, or the like alone or in combination. Also,
If the surface of the top coat film 5 is polished to eliminate foreign matter, bubbles, fine irregularities, etc. on the surface, the depth of the film can be further increased. [Effects of the Invention] As described above, the present invention forms a base coat with concealing properties on the surface of a base material, coats a patterning agent of dye or pigment almost entirely on the base coat, and applies the patterning agent of dye or pigment to the base coat almost entirely. Drop a liquid (solvent) with extremely low surface tension over the entire surface of the pigment patterning agent in granular form, or apply it continuously in a line at predetermined intervals to move the patterning agent with the liquid. After that, a top coat film such as clear paint or color clear paint is applied on top of the pattern, so the applied liquid acts as a carrier and is used as a patterning agent. It is possible to create wedge-like expressions such as Hyakumata-like by moving the patterning agent to form areas with more and less patterning agent, and by contrasting the shading, it is possible to create a wedge-like effect such as a hundred-mata-like pattern, without using a printing method. It can be shaped, and it is possible to express a non-uniform pattern. Furthermore, since the base coating film and the pattern attachment of dye or pigment are of similar color, the pattern can be subtly changed and a sense of depth can be expressed, making it possible to express a pattern closer to natural stone or artificial stone.
