[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] According to the original plate waste processing device described above, the stencil paper, which generally has a rectangular shape and is wrapped around the printing cylinder in a direction in which its long side follows the periphery of the printing cylinder, is By bending the long side into a corrugated shape in the direction of reduction and squeezing it flat, it becomes a rectangular band-shaped waste with the short side as the long side and is discharged from the original waste disposal equipment. This waste still has a length corresponding to the length of the short side of the original base paper.

The stencil sheet S that is removed from a printing cylinder (not shown) is held between a gear 4 and a rubber roller 6, and is held on a shaft 5.
As shown in the figure, the stencil sheet is carried into the stencil storage box 1 as it rotates counterclockwise. The stencil paper S carried into the stencil paper storage box 1 is prevented from moving by the wall surface of the storage box, and is folded into a waveform in the vertical direction and stored in the storage box 1. At this time, the drive feed roller 14 faces the driven feed roller 10 at its circumference removed portion, and creates a gap between itself and the driven feed roller 10 to receive the stencil paper S. 14 into the stencil storage box 1 without being hindered, and a part of it is carried into the stencil paper storage box 1 without being hindered by the driven feed roller 10 and the driving feed roller 1.

When all of the stencil sheets 7 are carried into the stencil sheet storage box 1, the driving feed roller 14 is rotated clockwise in the figure by an electric motor (not shown). As a result, as shown in the figure, the elastic member 15 of the drive feed roller 14 rotates while being pressed against the driven feed roller 10, and the stencil paper S between the driven feed roller 10 and the drive feed roller 14 is rotated.
are compressed and folded in the vertical direction in a superposed state, and are conveyed within the stencil paper storage box 1 toward the stencil paper discharge port 3 by frictional resistance with the elastic member 15. The stencil paper S, which has been compressed and folded in a polymerized state, becomes relatively hard due to the folding and polymerization, and the stencil paper S conveyed to the stencil paper transport port 3 is moved by the metal roller 7 and the rubber roller 8. As the metal roller 7 is sandwiched and rotates counterclockwise in the figure, the stencil paper discharge port 3 is moved to the waste passage 20.

As described above, the stencil paper S, which has been folded vertically by the driving feed roller 14 and the driven feed roller 10 and is discharged from the stencil paper discharge port 3 to the waste passage 20 by the metal roller 7 and the rubber roller 8, is placed in the middle of the waste passage 20. The metal roller 23 and rubber roller 25 provided therein further transport the waste toward the lower end of the waste passage 20 . The stencil paper S has a metal roller 23
The stencil paper passes between the fixed gate plate 27 and the movable gate plate 29 while being conveyed by the fixed gate plate 27 and the rubber roller 25, but since the fixed gate plate 27 and the movable gate plate 29 cooperate with each other to close the waste passage 20, the stencil paper passes through the fixed gate plate 27 and the movable gate plate 29 and are prevented from moving further along the waste passage 20 toward its lower end, remaining in the space 30 and being continuously conveyed by the metal roller 23 and the rubber roller 25, thereby forming the space 3.
Pushed into 0. Since the space 30 is wedge-shaped, the stencil paper S that is forcibly fed into the space 30 becomes jammed in the middle of the waste path 20 and is pushed into the tapered side of the space 30. It is then compressed in the transverse direction and folded over itself with a relatively small folding width, resulting in a small, bulky product. The space 30 includes a metal roller 23, a rubber roller 25, a fixed gate plate 27, and a movable gate plate 29.
If more than a predetermined amount of stencil paper S accumulates in the space, the movable gate plate 2
Reference numeral 9 indicates that the stencil sheet 9 rotates clockwise in the figure around the shaft 28 against the spring force of the compression coil spring 31 and is pushed out, thereby removing the stencil sheet that had accumulated in the space 30. The raw paper S passes between the fixed gate plate 27 and the movable gate plate 29 and falls from the lower end of the waste passage 20 into a suitable box or bag (not shown). As described above, this stencil paper S is pressed and folded with a relatively small fold width, making it small and not bulky.
This prevents the box or bag from filling up prematurely.

FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of a plate discarding device including an original plate disposal device for a printing press according to the present invention. In FIG. 2, parts corresponding to those in FIG. 1 are designated by the same reference numerals as in FIG. In this embodiment, the movable gate plate 29 is driven to open and close by a solenoid device 32 instead of a compression coil spring. The solenoid device 32 drives the movable gate plate 29 to the open position when a predetermined amount or more of stencil paper has accumulated in the space 30.
At other times, the movable gate plate 29 is held in the closed position. The fact that more than a predetermined amount of stencil paper has accumulated in the space 30 can be detected from the number of used stencil sheets sent to the disposal path 20, that is, the number of discarded stencil sheets. It is sufficient that the movable gate plate 29 is driven to the open position for a predetermined period of time each time a predetermined number of stencil sheets have been discharged.

In this embodiment as well, the space 30 is wedge-shaped, and until a predetermined amount or more of stencil paper is accumulated in the space 30, the space 30 is downstream of the metal roller 23 and the rubber roller 25 when viewed from the direction in which the stencil paper is conveyed in the waste path 20. Since the middle of the waste passage 20 located to the side is blocked by the fixed gate plate 30 and the movable gate plate 29, the stencil paper fed into the wedge-shaped space 30 by the metal roller 23 and the rubber roller 25 is similar to the embodiment described above. It is pressed and folded into a relatively small folding width, making it small and not bulky. space 3
When more than a predetermined amount of stencil paper is accumulated in the space 30, the movable gate plate 29 is driven to the open position by the solenoid device 32, and the stencil paper accumulated in the space 30 is moved to the fixed gate. It passes between the plate 27 and the movable gate plate 29 and falls from the lower end of the waste passage 20 into a suitable box or bag (not shown) provided opposite the lower end.
