Previously, the applicant proposed a propulsion device of this type in which a rotating shaft is arranged at approximately the same level as the water surface level and orthogonal to the direction of propulsion, and a rotating plate is mounted on the rotating shaft so that the surface of the rotating plate is obliquely intersecting the axis of the rotating shaft. (Utility Application No. 58-102618). The operation of this propulsion device is performed as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.

That is, in the figure, a indicates a rotating shaft, and b indicates a rotating plate connected to the rotating shaft a with its plate surface diagonally crossing the axis. They are arranged perpendicularly to the direction of arrow X in FIG.

Here, assuming that the rotary plate b is viewed from the rear in the propulsion direction and is at a rotational position of 0° when it is in a rightward tilted position upward and to the right, the rear view shape at each rotational position of 90°, 180°, and 270° is shown. The plan view shape is shown in Figures 1 and 2.
As shown in the figure (the part that is submerged in water is shaded), in the rotation range of 0° to 180°, water is pushed backward by the right side c of the rotating plate b and propelled. A force is generated, and the propulsive force peaks at the 90° position where the rearward projected area of the right side surface c is maximum, and at the 180° position, the rotary plate b tilts upward and tilts to the left. Then, in the subsequent rotation range of 180° to 360°, the water is pushed backward by the left side d of the rotary plate, and the water is pushed back at the 270° position where the rearward projected area of the left side d is maximum. The propulsive force reaches its peak, and by repeating the above steps, the alternating web action of the right side c and the left side d of the rotary plate b produces a continuous propulsive force, and by reversing the rotating axis a, the above is achieved. Propulsion in the opposite direction is obtained.

However, since the rotating plate b is a flat disc,
When the water is pushed backward by rotation, slippage occurs between the surface of the rotating plate and the water, which has the disadvantage that sufficient propulsive force cannot always be obtained.

The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate these drawbacks and provide a propulsion device in which the rotating plate can reliably push out water and obtain strong propulsive force. A rotating shaft is arranged at substantially the same level and perpendicular to the propulsion direction, and a rotating plate is connected to the rotating shaft so that its central axis is obliquely intersecting with the rotating shaft, and from the center of the rotating plate to the periphery. The reason for this is that an odd number of propulsion blades that gradually protrude are arranged on both sides of the rotary plate at equal angles and shifted by 180 degrees between each side.

Thus, as shown by the solid line in FIG. 4, the rotating plate 2, that is, the rear wheel, is locked to the rotating shaft 3 by means such as the hook 14, so that it can travel on the ground G in a state perpendicular to the rotating shaft 3. 14 is released to make the rotary plate 2 swingable within a certain angle with respect to the rotary shaft 3 in the long holes 13, 13, and
When the part is placed in water and rotated, the rotary plate 2 becomes oblique to the rotary shaft 3 due to water pressure, and the intermediate position of the float bodies 1a, 1a becomes the water surface W, allowing the float bodies to travel on water.

Here, as explained in the propulsion device of the previous application, the maximum propulsive force is generated between the two surfaces of the rotary plate 2 at rotational positions different by 180 degrees, such as 90 degrees on one side and 270 degrees on the other side. This maximum propulsive force is further increased by the water displacing action of the inclined surfaces of the propulsion vanes 2c...2c, which are arranged 180 degrees apart from each other between the disk portions 2a, 2a. Further, since each propulsion blade 2c is formed to gradually protrude from the center of the rotating plate 2, which contributes little to the propulsive force, toward the peripheral portion, which contributes the most to the propulsive force, the propulsive force can be efficiently obtained.

Also, when the propulsion blades 2c...2c sequentially enter or exit the water due to the rotation of the rotating plate 2, these propulsion blades 2c...2c
Since an odd number of blades 2a and 2a are arranged at equal angles and shifted by 180 degrees on both sides, on each surface of the rotating plate 2, a plurality of propulsion blades 2c...2
c does not go in and out of the water surface at the same time, and the influence of changes in resistance occurring on the water surface on the rotary plate 2 is dispersed, resulting in less rotational unevenness and smooth rotation.

Incidentally, in the above embodiment, the both side disk portions 2a, 2a are formed parallel to each other, but the present invention is not limited to this, and they may be formed in a tapered shape as shown in FIG. 8, for example. Forming the both side disc portions 22a, 22a in a tapered shape is intended to further increase the propulsion force, as explained in the specification of the applicant's previous utility model registration application (Utility Model Application No. 183364/1982). There is an effect that can be done. In addition, 22 is a rotating plate, 22b is a tire, and 22c

As described above, according to the present invention, the propulsion vanes that gradually protrude from the center of the rotary plate toward the peripheral edge are arranged on both sides of the rotary plate, with the positions shifted by 180 degrees between each side. In addition to being able to obtain a smoother and stronger propulsion force than before, the propelling blades are arranged in an odd number on both sides of the rotary plate at an angle and shifted by 180 degrees between each side, so that it can easily reach the water surface. The resistance generated between the two is also dispersed, allowing smooth rotation.
