ドリルマシンを用いて錐孔を加工した後、前記鋼
材のウエブ上面に残留する切粉を除去するための
切粉除去装置であつて、前記ドリルマシンの鋼材
搬送方向の前方位置に、前記ローラーテーブルを
跨いで門型フレームを設置し、この門型フレーム
に昇降駆動手段により駆動されて位置調整可能な
昇降台を取付け、この昇降台の下面に前記ドリル
マシンで加工する最小ウエブ幅に対応した幅を有
し、かつドリルマシンの加工基準線を基準にして
位置決めし固定された固定ブラシと、この固定ブ
ラシの前記加工基準線と相反する側に移動手段に
より鋼材幅方向に移動して位置調整可能で、かつ
前記固定ブラシとによりドリルマシンで加工する
最大ウエブ幅の鋼材に対応してウエブ上面に残留
した切粉を払拭する少くとも1個の移動ブラシを
取付けたことを特徴とする切粉除去装置。
