As shown in Fig. 6, the pressure inside the chimney 1 is higher than the atmospheric pressure on the atmosphere side (C is a line showing the atmospheric pressure) at the top A side of the chimney 1.
At the lower part B, the pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure on the atmospheric side.
Therefore, the exhaust gas ○I flows back into the rainwater discharge gutter 5 provided at the side of the top A of the chimney 1, and the exhaust gas ○I blows out to the atmosphere from the side exhaust pipe 6 and surrounds the chimney 1. It can get dirty or corrode.

Exhaust gas containing corrosive gases HCl and SO 4 is
When passing through the side drain pipe 6, it is cooled by the atmosphere and turns into a corrosive liquid such as HCl or H 2 SO 4 , which significantly corrodes the metal rain gutter 5 and side drain pipe 6. Furthermore, the joint between the main body of the chimney 1 and the rain gutter 5 may also be affected by this and corrode. For this reason, it is conceivable to use FRP, vinyl chloride, or the like, which can withstand corrosive liquids, as a material for the rain gutter 5, etc., but these materials cannot withstand the high temperature of the exhaust gas. Therefore, the rain gutter 5 and the side drain pipe 6 cannot be made permanent and must be repaired every short period of time.

The operation of the present invention configured as above will be explained as follows. First, at the side of the top of the chimney 10, rainwater that has entered the inside of the chimney 10 enters in the direction of the arrow ○ along the inside of the nozzle part 10a, as shown in FIG. 15 flowing down. Next, at the lower side of the chimney, the water flows from the vertical gutter 15 shown in FIG. 3, passes through the lower end 16 of the vertical gutter, and flows into the bottom drain pipe 18, from where it flows in the direction of the arrow ○ and outflows to the atmosphere. As shown in FIG. 2, even if the downpipes 15a, 15b (15) expand and contract, the sheath pipe 40 slides inside the downpipe 15b, so the length of the downpipe 15 is adjusted, and the rainwater flowing down can be adjusted. There is no leakage to the outside.
