2. Prior art X of the normal, lateral or 45° oblique side of the subject's head
A cephalometric imaging device that takes ray standard photographs (hereinafter referred to as cephalometric photographs) using a pair of X-ray sources has conventionally been used in the same way, in which individual cassettes containing X-ray film are placed facing each of the pair of X-ray sources. It is customary to load the device into a pair of cassette holders and photograph the front and side (including oblique side) side views. FIG. 1 is a schematic plan view of a conventional cephalometric imaging device, in which a pair of ear slots 3 and 3' of a head fixation device 2 are inserted into both external auditory canals of a subject's head 1, and eye spot indicators (not shown) are inserted into the subject's head 1. Thus, the upper edge of the external auditory foramen and the orbital point are fixed horizontally. Yearlot 3 above,
X-ray sources 8 and 9 having focal points 6 and 7, respectively, are installed at positions usually 150 cm rearward and lateral to the intersection point P between the cephalometric reference line 4 connecting the 3' center and the median sagittal plane 5. The head 1 is placed at these X-ray focal points 6 and 7.
A cassette holder 1 that holds a pair of cassettes 10 and 11 is placed facing each other with the distance between the focal point and the film being usually 165 cm.
2.13. In this configuration, in order to prevent the scattered X-rays from interfering with the unexposed film during frontal cephalometric imaging, the side cassette 11 must be removed from the cassette holder 13, or the X-ray shield plate (not shown) must be installed. For this reason, when performing the next lateral cephalometric imaging, it is necessary to load the cassette 11 or remove the X-ray shield plate, and at this time, the To prevent interference, rotate the cassette holder 12 by 180 degrees in the direction of arrow a.
They must be evacuated to a location. These operations, such as attaching and detaching the cassette for changing the imaging, not only prolong the restraint time of the patient and cause discomfort, but also cause shock to be added to the cassette holder when attaching and detaching the cassette.
This causes vibrations, and if imaging is performed before the vibrations come to rest, the imaging will be blurred, resulting in a reduction in diagnostic accuracy. In order to eliminate this drawback, the cassette holder of Utility Application No. 089393, ``X-ray photographing device,'' which the authors devised and filed, uses an X-ray shielding member as a partition, which is sandwiched between the front and back sides. 1
This is a one-piece cassette holder 15 into which a pair of cassettes 10 and 11 can be loaded, and a schematic plan view thereof is shown in FIG. By moving the cassette holder 15 to the solid line position when photographing from the front, and rotating it 270 degrees in the direction of arrow b about the spindle 16 of the cassette holder as the center of rotation when photographing from the side, the shortcomings of the conventional device can be overcome. It can be completely removed. However, even in the apparatus shown in FIG. 2, the cassettes 10 and 11 loaded into the cassette holder 15 are one each for the front and side views, and it is difficult to take multiple images of the front or side views while the patient's head is restrained. , cassettes must be replaced, and operations such as rotating and positioning the cassette holder are required, which takes time and causes great discomfort to the patient. Therefore, multiple cephalograms are not performed with the head fixed. The reality is that there is not. However, in recent years in the dental field, there has been an increase in the number of cases in which multiple lateral cephalograms are required for one front cephalogram on a patient, or in high-efficiency diagnosis of a large number of patients in a short period of time. The emergence of a cassetteless rapid photography device (hereinafter referred to as a film changer), which is indispensable for X-ray photography, is a device that automatically transports X-ray film and incorporates a device that can continuously take multiple images. This is a situation that is strongly requested.

3. Purpose This invention was made in view of the above-mentioned current situation, and it eliminates the drawbacks of the conventional device in which X-ray film is stored in a cassette. To provide a cephalometric imaging device capable of obtaining an X-ray photograph with high diagnostic ability through easy operation.

4. Configuration The configuration of the cephalometric imaging device according to this invention is different from conventional devices. The second point is that it is a wire film holder.
For example, a rotation mechanism installed between the pedestal of a patient chair and the floor is provided with a central axis on the vertical line of the intersection of the median sagittal plane and the cephalometric reference line connecting both external auditory canals of the subject. The X-ray film surface of the above-mentioned snapshot device is held at a predetermined position facing the subject's head by means of a rotating arm with its shaft as the center of rotation and a support attached to this rotating arm, and also drives, for example, an electric motor. The X-ray film is provided with an X-ray film rotation positioning device which selectively positions the X-ray film at the front and side photographing positions.

5 Examples Examples of this invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 3 is a side external view of a cephalometric imaging device according to an embodiment of this invention, and FIG. 4 is a plan external view thereof, both of which show the front cephalometric imaging of a patient. In FIG. 3, the chair 18 on which the patient sits can be raised and lowered by a foot pedal or an electric lifting mechanism provided on the pedestal 19, and the ear slot 3 at the tip of the head fixing device 2 is mounted on a fixed arm 20 engaged with the pedestal. 3' is raised and lowered according to the patient's sitting height to a predetermined height at which the X-ray focal point 3' can be inserted into the external auditory canal, that is, the height H above the floor of the pair of X-ray focal points 6 and 7. 21 is a floor surface, and 22 is a foot lever or foot switch for raising and lowering. The film changer 23, which is an X-ray film holder in this device, stores, for example, 50 six-cut X-ray films and 50 four-cut X-ray films in a magazine, and sequentially photographs them by selecting them according to the purpose. This device is a well-known device, and its details will be omitted. When the X-ray film 24 is sent to the imaging position, the distance l1 from the cephalometric reference line 4 connecting the ear rods 3 and 3' becomes 15 cm, and the specified height H becomes approximately the center of the X-ray film 24. An X-ray film rotating and positioning device 25, which will be described below, supports and positions the film chainer 23 in this manner. This device 25 is fixedly installed on the floor 21, and has a rotating mechanism main body 26 on which the base 19 of the patient chair is mounted.
, a horizontal arm portion 27 that rotates 90 degrees around the main shaft 30 at the center of the main body portion, and a support portion 29 that is installed at the tip of the horizontal arm portion and supports the support base 28 of the film changer 23 in a vertically movable manner. It is made up of. The internal structure of the rotation mechanism body 26 is shown in FIG. 5, and the axis 30c of the main shaft 30, which is the center of rotation of the horizontal arm 27, is aligned with the median sagittal plane 5 of the patient's head 1 shown in FIG. It is made to perfectly match the vertical line of the intersection point P with the cephalometric reference line 4, and does not necessarily have to match the center axis 18c of the patient chair 18. A deviation may occur. The arm portion 27 has one end rotatably supported by a main shaft within the main body, and the other end protrudes outward. The horizontal arm 27 is reversibly rotated within a range of 90 degrees as shown in FIG. 4 by a rotation motor 32 that is swingably supported by a pair of support shafts 31 on both sides of the protrusion. . In other words, the position of the film changer 23 indicated by the solid line is the front cephalometric photographing position, and the position 23' indicated by the two-dot chain line is the side cephalometric photographing position.
X-ray sources 8 and 9 (not shown) are installed in the directions of arrows 8 and 9 so that their focal points are located 150 cm from the intersection P. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, both the inner and outer cylinders of the support column 29 are made of rectangular cylinder members, and a motor 33 rotates a screw shaft that is screwed into a cylindrical nut fixed to the lower end of the inner cylinder 34. For example, the pitch of the upper end of the inner cylinder 34 is 2 mm.
Adjust the height of the film chain during installation by adjusting the threaded part of the film chain. Next, as shown in FIG.
Explain the internal structure of. The figure is an external perspective view of the device 25 seen from the direction of arrow C in FIG. 4, and the description of the same symbols as in FIGS. 3 and 4 will be simplified or omitted. The rotation mechanism main body 26 is connected to the base plate 35 and the outer wall plate 3.
6, an inner wall plate 37, and a top plate 38, and the aforementioned main shaft 30 is installed on a substrate 35, and its axis 3
Bolt holes or screw holes 39 for fixing the chair pedestal on the top plate 38 are positioned and drilled so that 0c correctly coincides with the vertical line of the intersection point P shown in FIG. The outer wall plate 36 and the inner wall plate 37 close the non-rotating portion of the horizontal arm portion 27, and a pair of inner wall plates 40 connect both ends of the outer and inner wall plates, respectively.
has been established. This internal wall plate 40 is provided with a through hole 43 into which a caster arm 42 protruding from the left and right sides of the horizontal arm section enters, and a micro switch 44, for example, which stops the rotation when the horizontal arm structure comes into contact with it. The horizontal arm portion 27 has one end attached to the main shaft 30, for example, a pair of upper and lower main bearings 45.
The above-mentioned pair of caster arms 42 are rotatably supported through
A pair of casters 46 rotatably supported on
It is rotatably supported by. The motor 47 of the rotary motor section 32 is provided with a friction shaft 48 on its output shaft, and a tension spring 49 that presses the friction ring 48 against the peripheral wall of the top plate 38 is connected to the horizontal arm structure and the above-mentioned support shaft 31. The rotary motor part frame 50 shown by the dashed line is supported so as to be swingable. The support portion 29 is connected to the inner cylinder 3 as described above.
4 outer cylinder 51 and supports the support base 28 at the upper end, and moves the film chain engine 23 greatly in the vertical direction through the operation of the lifting motor 33. By making use of the four film changer mounting holes 52 provided, it is possible to finely adjust the height in 0.5 mm increments. For example, the motor 47 that drives the rotation is of a speed control type, and by appropriately controlling the start, rotation, and stop, the rotation positioning to the front and side cephalometric shooting positions can be performed without any shock to the film chain engineer. For example, smoothly and easily without giving any
This can be done in a short time of about 5 seconds. The above is an explanation of the embodiment of this invention. Next, referring to FIG.
Another example of No. 5 will be described. FIG. 6 is an external perspective view seen from the same direction as FIG. 5, and the detailed explanation of the same symbols as in FIG. 5 will be omitted. The difference from the embodiment shown in FIG. 5 is that the caster arm 53 of the horizontal arm section 27 is provided at the tip of the horizontal arm section, and the arm is longer and the distance between the pair of casters 54 shown by the dotted line is lengthened. In order to flatten the surface on which the caster 54 rolls, the base plate of the rotating mechanism main body 26 is formed into a fan-shaped base plate 55 that is greatly expanded into a fan shape, and a caster rail 56 made of, for example, a stainless steel plate is attached. Also a pair of internal wall panels 4
Although a micro switch 44 is provided at 0', a through hole 43 is not required. The X-ray film rotation positioning device 25' having the above configuration has the following features compared to the above embodiments:
Although there is a slight difference in the direction of the load applied to the main bearing 45 of the main shaft portion and the casters 46, 54, there is no major difference and the rotational positioning function is exactly the same. It should be noted that when 45° oblique lateral cephalocardial imaging is performed using the first and second embodiments, the patient chair is rotated 45°, which is the same as in the conventional apparatus.

The above is an example of this invention, but this invention is not limited to illustrations or explanations; the point is to take normal and lateral images with the vertical line at the intersection of the subject's cephalometric reference line and the median sagittal plane as the center of rotation. Any device may be used as long as it can be rotated and positioned in a switching manner; for example, a device that rotates the film changer to the side opposite to the side shown in Fig. 4, that is, the left side of the subject, and photographs the right side of the subject. Alternatively, the film changer may be of a single film size type.
Further, the support column may have a cylindrical shape, and its elevation is not limited to electric. Similarly, the rotation of the horizontal arm portion is not necessarily limited to friction drive, and the drive source thereof does not necessarily have to be electric. Further, a device in which a rotating mechanism is provided on the ceiling and the film chainer is suspended and rotated also falls within the scope of this invention.
