<Conventional technology> Conventionally, in the case of concrete waterways, waterway blocks, which have irregularities such as ridges at regular intervals on the bottom surface, have the function of maintaining a water depth that allows fish to live even in times of drought. It was just doing something.

Attempts have also been made to create habitats for fish and the like by creating holes in the side walls of concrete waterways. However, because the light from natural light does not reach the depths, and during droughts, there is not enough water left in the hole, so it could not be a suitable habitat.

Fishing reef blocks can be seen in Utility Model No. 59-144037 and Utility Model No. 54-112792. What must be considered in such fishing reef blocks is the protection of fish in the event that water flow is stopped in the waterway formed by the waterway block, or the flow of water is stopped due to periods of dry water, etc. However, in either case, if the flow of water stops, all the water will disappear, and all aquatic animals will die, meaning that they will not be able to fully fulfill their purpose and function as fishing reefs.

<Problems to be solved by the invention> The main purpose of providing the protrusions on the bottom of the waterway block mentioned above was to reduce excessive flow velocity, and it did not go far enough to provide a sufficient habitat for fish. .
In other words, even in times of drought, the water remains deep enough for fish to live in, and a certain amount of aquatic plants can grow, but they are washed away by external enemies and by excessive current speeds caused by increased water levels and slopes. Therefore, there was no place for them to escape, and it also could not be a suitable breeding ground.

<Means for solving the problem> Therefore, in the present invention, in order to provide a sufficient habitat for fish etc., a waterway block with multiple protrusions provided on the bottom almost perpendicular to the direction of water flow is used to prevent water from drying out. Taking advantage of the fact that a water puddle is left even at times, the waterway block has fitting parts 12, 12 at both ends that are shaped to fit into the protrusions 5, and spans between the protrusions of the waterway block. They developed a fishing reef block that had a shape that could be covered over the corner formed by the bottom and side walls of the reef, and had a cutout or side hole in the side edge.

<Function> With a concrete waterway equipped with such a fish reef block of the present invention, there is a gap between the bottom surface 6 and side wall 7 of the water channel block and the fish reef block 9 of the present invention, which has a low flow velocity and prevents foreign enemies such as birds from entering. This creates a habitat where only fish and other species can enter and exit.

Therefore, not only during normal times, but also when the water is rising, when the flow velocity is excessive due to steep slopes, and even when attacked by external enemies, only fish and other animals can freely and safely enter and exit the area. It also allows natural light to enter the habitat.

Water accumulates between the protrusions 5, 5 even when the flow of water is stopped due to suspension of water flow, dry season, etc. Moreover, since it is provided in a fitting structure between the protrusions 5, 5, it will not be moved even by strong water currents.

Although the fishing reef block of the present invention has created a habitat for fish and other species as described above, as can be seen in Figure 6, the reduction in the cross-sectional area for water flow is extremely small, resulting in poor water passage. The waterway's function as a waterway is not impaired.

Conventionally, the area surrounded by the protrusion 5 and the side wall 7 of the concrete waterway bottom 6 provided a habitat for fish, but the present product provides a habitat for fish that is most suitable for fish. Improvements were made to maintain a suitable habitat. In such fishing reef blocks, water flow is reduced, and sediment accumulates, creating an environment where aquatic plants and aquatic insects are likely to grow, and the food and fish that are generated are not washed away by excessive current speed. Provide good feeding and breeding areas.
