The present invention provides a water-in-oil eye makeup that contains solid, semi-solid, or liquid oil, a volatile branched hydrocarbon, an organic gelling agent, hydrophobic anhydrous silica, and water as essential components. This concerns cap fees. The objectives are to improve dryness, water resistance, oil resistance, usability, safety, and
This is to improve stability, etc. Traditionally, eye makeup materials such as eyeliners and mascaras have been available in oil-in-water types, film-forming types, non-aqueous types,
Water-in-oil type is known. Oil-in-water types are composed of solid, semi-solid, or liquid oil and water, and there are no problems with film uniformity, ease of use, dryness, safety, and stability.
Water resistance is very poor and oil resistance is also poor. In other words, it has the disadvantage that makeup does not last long. The film-forming type is made of a synthetic resin emulsion and water, so there are fewer problems, but its water resistance can withstand use in pools, swimming in the sea, and strenuous sports such as tennis. It's not a thing. Another drawback is that the finished film feels strange. Non-aqueous types are solid, semi-solid, or composed of liquid oil and volatile branched hydrocarbons, and have no problem with water resistance, but very poor oil resistance and poor drying properties.
Usability, safety, and stability are also somewhat poor. Furthermore, it has the disadvantage that makeup tends to come off due to sebum. Water-in-oil type oils consist of solid, semi-solid, or liquid oil, volatile branched hydrocarbons, and water, and although they have no problem with water resistance, they have very poor drying and oil resistance.
The stability is poor, and the usability and safety are also somewhat poor. Another disadvantage is that makeup tends to bleed due to sebum and easily separates. This is a type that is rarely seen on the market. As mentioned above, conventional oil-in-water eye makeup has the advantage of being easy to use; it applies with a uniform film, spreads well, allows for a desired finish, and is highly safe. . However, since its composition generally consists of oil and water, if it gets wet with water, tears, sweat, or sebum after drying, it will return to its pre-dry state, causing smearing or mottling, and The disadvantage is that it easily stains the surrounding area. Furthermore, conventional non-aqueous eye makeup caps do not smudge or fall off even when wet with water, tears, sweat, etc., and are good in terms of water resistance.
However, since the composition generally consists of oil and volatile branched hydrocarbons, after drying, the applied cosmetic may dissolve in sebum and other oils such as cosmetics, causing it to smudge, or move when blinking, etc., causing eye irritation. It has the disadvantage of being poor in oil resistance and easily staining the surrounding area. The present invention combines the advantages of the above-mentioned oil-in-water type eye makeup caps, which are easy to use and safe, and the advantages of non-aqueous eye makeup caps, which are high water resistance, and has the advantages of each. It solves the shortcomings and shortcomings. That is, the eye makeup capping material of the present invention is a solid, semi-solid, or water-in-oil type that is composed of a liquid oil, a volatile branched hydrocarbon, an organic gelling agent, hydrophobic anhydrous silica, and water. be. The essential ingredients used are shown below. For solid, semi-solid, and liquid oils, use liquid paraffin,
Squalane, solid paraffin wax, candelilla wax, carnauba wax, lanolin derivatives, bees wax, Japanese wax, myristic acid, cetanol, isopropyl myristate, silicone oil, and other oily raw materials commonly used in cosmetics. The volatile branched hydrocarbon is, for example, IP Solvent (manufactured by Idemitsu Petrochemical Co., Ltd.), which is a synthetic petroleum hydrocarbon. Its main component is isoparaffin, which accounts for over 95%. Organic gelling agents include sucrose fatty acid ester,
These include dextrin fatty acid ester, metal soap, organic bentonite, etc. Hydrophobic anhydrous silica is, for example, Aerosil R-
972 (manufactured by Nippon Aerosil Co., Ltd.), Taranotx
500 (manufactured by Talco Inc.).
Aerosil R-972 is based on silicon dioxide,
A portion of the hydrophilic hydroxyl groups that normally cover the silica surface are replaced with dimethyldichlorosilane groups. Taranox 500 is based on silicon dioxide, and the hydrophilic hydroxyl groups that normally cover the silica surface are replaced with hydrophobic trimethylsiloxyl groups. The amount of oil used in the present invention can range from 3 to 50% by weight (hereinafter, % means % by weight). In particular, a content in the range of 5 to 20% is preferable in view of the properties of use as an eye make-up material. That is, if it is less than 3%, it will not form a coating film and will not function as an eye makeup pigment. on the other hand,
If it exceeds 50%, the viscosity of the eye makeup system increases, making it impossible to control the viscosity, and resulting in extremely poor oil resistance. Next, the blending amount of volatile branched hydrocarbons is 20 to 70
It can be used within a range of 25% to 60%, particularly preferably 25% to 60%. In other words, if it is less than 20%, the drying performance will be extremely poor, and if it is more than 70%, the viscosity of the system will be low and it will be difficult to control the viscosity.
Moreover, the stability is also poor. Next, the blending amount of the organic gelling agent can be used in the range of 1 to 15%, but is particularly preferably in the range of 2 to 10%. That is, if it is less than 1%, stability will be poor due to insufficient gelling ability. On the other hand, if it exceeds 15%, the gelling ability will increase too much, making it impossible to control the viscosity. Next, the blending amount of hydrophobic anhydrous silica is 0.5 to 5.
Although it can be used in a range of 1% to 4%, a range of 1% to 4% is particularly preferred. That is, if it is less than 0.5%, water cannot be stably dispersed in oil, and the effects of the present invention cannot be produced. Also,
If it exceeds 5%, the system solidifies into a gel-like state, making it difficult to use. Finally, the amount of water can be used in the range of 5 to 60%, but is particularly preferably in the range of 10 to 40%.
That is, if it is less than 5%, the disadvantages of non-aqueous type will occur. In addition, if it exceeds 60%, the water resistance will be significantly inferior.
The makeup lasts a lot less. The eye makeup composition of the present invention is constructed as described above, but by appropriately selecting the amount and type of oily raw materials, eyeliners and mascara can be obtained respectively. Furthermore, in addition to the above-mentioned components, pigments, pigment dispersants, antioxidants, plasticizers, thickeners, oil-soluble resins, fragrances, preservatives, etc. can be added to the eye makeup capping composition of the present invention as appropriate. . The eye makeup capping material of the present invention has the above-mentioned composition, and is made by dispersing hydrophobic anhydrous silica containing water in the form of fine particles in an oil and stabilizing it with an organic gelling agent. be. Regarding the properties of the eye makeup composition of the present invention, evaluation test methods for drying properties, water resistance, oil resistance, usability, safety, stability, etc. are shown below. (1) Drying test: Take an appropriate amount of sample onto a glass plate with a size of 0.3 x 7 x 12 cm, create a uniform coating film with a 2 mil doctor blade, and check the drying time at room temperature. (2) Water resistance test: Prepare a sample using the same method as in (1), dry it at room temperature for 24 hours, and then add ion-exchanged water.
Pipette onto the sample surface, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1
After minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 30 minutes, wipe off and check. (3) Oil resistance test: Use squalane instead of ion-exchanged water in test method (2) and check in the same manner. (4) Usability test: For eyeliner, soak the eyeliner brush in the sample, set it on the recorder, move the paper at a speed of 12 cm/min to draw a straight line, and check the handwriting. For mascara, soak the mascara brush in the sample,
Set it on the recorder and fix the 3 denier nylon fake hair. Then, move the brush at a speed of 12 cm/min to apply the sample and check the handwriting. (5) Safety test: Drop the sample onto the rabbit's eyelid,
Check after 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, and 4-7 days. (6) Stability test: Put the sample into an 80ml sample bottle, set it in a constant temperature bath at 40℃ and 0℃, and check it after 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, and 3 months. The characteristics of each type of eye makeup pigment are shown below.
