Conventionally, this type of interior material has been used in which a facing material is attached to an interior base material such as cardboard, resin board, polyethylene foam, etc. via a hot melt sheet.

However, the base materials used for these conventional interior materials have poor sound insulation, heat resistance, heat insulation, and vibration insulation properties. In addition, a facing material is attached to the base material,
In this case, the base material is generally heated and a facing material lined with a hot melt sheet is crimped onto the base material. However, conventional base materials have a large specific heat, and the heat loss required to heat the base material surface to a temperature at which it can be fused with a hot melt sheet is extremely large.

[Means for Solving the Problems] As a means for solving the above conventional problems, the present invention provides an interior base material 10 consisting of a base material 1 and a metal strip layer 2 formed on the surface of the base material 1. An interior material is provided in which a facing material 3 is adhered to the metal strip layer 2 side via a hot melt sheet 4.

The metal strip layer formed on the surface of the base material is flexible and expandable, and can follow the molded shape without cracking. The metal strip layer has a small specific heat, and when the hot melt sheet is heated to a temperature at which the hot melt sheet can be fused when the facing material is attached, the heat loss is small. Furthermore, since the metal strip layer has good thermal conductivity, heat is quickly dissipated and provides heat resistance and heat insulation to the base material. Furthermore, the metal strip layer has vibration and sound insulation properties due to the mass effect due to its weight.

Therefore, in this invention, moldability, heat resistance,
An interior material having good heat insulation, vibration proofing, and sound insulation properties, and having extremely good thermal efficiency in heating the base material even when bonding the base material and the facing material using a hot melt sheet can be obtained.

To manufacture such an interior base material 10, a base material 1
A method is used in which an adhesive or hot-melt adhesive is applied to the surface, and metal pieces such as metal fibers or metal powder are spread and pressed while the adhesive is not dry or the hot-melt adhesive is heated and softened.

The interior base material 10 is molded into the shape of the ceiling of an automobile, as shown in FIG. 2, for example, to form a molded ceiling 11. Since the metal strips can change their relative positions within the metal strip layer 2, the metal strip layer 2 is flexible and stretchable and follows the molded shape without cracking.

As shown in FIG. 3, a facing material 3 such as a nonwoven fabric, a textile knitted fabric, or leather is attached to the interior base material 10. Generally, the facing material 3 is lined with a hot melt sheet 4 such as a polyethylene sheet, and the surface of the interior base material 10 is heated to press the facing material 3 through the hot melt sheet 4. At this time, since the metal strip layer 2 has a small specific heat, only a small amount of heat is required to heat it to a predetermined temperature.
