あると、端子ねじを回すときなどに座金が回転す
る。従来この座金の回転を防止するためには座金
を矩形状にし、座金の3辺をボデイから突設した
壁部にて囲んでいた。しかし座金の3辺を壁部で
囲むと電線を接続するために送り込む方向が一方
向しかとれず、接続に不便があり、また電線の長
手方向と直交する方向へ電線を移動させて電線を
挿入する横方向からの電線の挿入ができないとい
う不便があつた。

部を貫通して端子板Aに螺合したものであつて、
上述のように構成することにより従来例の欠点を
解決したものである。つまり端子板Aの立ち上が
り片Bと座金Cの切り欠きDとの係合により座金
Cが回転しなくなり、また上記係合にて回転止め
できるので従来のような3方の壁部がなくなつて
いずれの方向からでも電線を挿入して接続できる
ようになつた。

して電線の端部を座金Cと端子板Aとの間に挿入
し、端子ねじEを締め付けることにより電線を接
続できる。この際座金Cの四周が明いているので

いずれの方向からでも挿入できる。また第1図矢

ボデイ2の係止凹部16に係止することにより止
めてある。第1端子板3には第1刃受けばね3a
を有し、第1端子板3に座金6aを介して第1端
子ねじ6を螺合してある。第2端子板4には第2
刃受けばね4aを有し、第2端子板4に座金7a
介して第2端子ねじ7を螺合してある。アース端
子板5の一方の端子が本考案の端子構造になつて
おり、アース端子板5の他方には座金8aを介し
て第1のアース端子ねじ8を螺合してある。端子
ねじEが第2のアース端子ねじとなつている。カ
バー体1は内カバー1aと化粧用の外カバー1b
とにより構成されている。内カバー1aは耐熱性
に優れた熱硬化性樹脂にて形成されており、取り
付けねじ10にてボデイ2に被着した内カバー1
aを取り付けてある。内カバー1aの上面には矩
形状の凸面部11を設けてあり、凸面部11の部
分で上記第1刃受けばね3aや第2刃受けばね4
aに対応する栓刃挿入孔14を穿孔してある。外
カバー1bは耐衝撃性に優れた熱可塑性樹脂にて
形成され、内カバー1aに被嵌して取り付けてあ
る。このとき外カバー1bに設けた係止突部(図
示せず)を内カバー1aの係止凹部12に係止し
てある。外カバー1bには内カバー1aの凸面部
11に対応する矩形状の窓部13を設けてあり、
窓部13より凸面部11を露出させてある。

に配置すると共に座金に設けた切り欠きに立ち上
がり片を係合し、端子ねじを座金の頂部を貫通し
て端子板に螺合してあるので、端子ねじを締め付
けて座金を押した場合、開き角度が次第に大きく
なつて略へ字状をした座金が平坦になるように押
し潰されて確実且つ強固に電線を挟持することが
できるものであり、しかも、この座金が略へ字状
から平坦に押し潰される際に切り欠きが座金の頂
部の稜線の端部に設けてあることで、上記座金の
変形に支障を及ぼすことがないものである。つま
り、仮に略へ字状をした座金の下端縁に切り欠き
が設けてあると、座金の上記変形に伴つて切り欠
きの位置が移動してしまい、立ち上がり片が座金
の変形の支障となつたり、あるいは始めは切り欠
きにはめ込まない状態でなければならないという
問題があるが、本考案はこのようなおそれがな
い。また、座金が略へ字状をしているので座金に
より電線が外方に逃げないように内側に寄るよう
な作用をさせることができるものである。
