Claims

A terminal is inserted into the terminal accommodating chamber of the connector housing, and the terminal is prevented from coming off backward by a housing lance that is cantilevered from the connector housing into the terminal accommodating chamber. In the connector, a terminal incomplete insertion detection piece provided on a key separate from the connector housing is inserted between a free end side of the housing lance and an inner wall of the terminal accommodating chamber. The key is provided with a pair of elastic arms inserted along the inner wall in the width direction of the terminal accommodating chamber in a cantilevered manner, and a key locking projection is provided on each outer surface of the free end side of each of the elastic arms. A terminal locking protrusion is provided on the upper surface of the free end side of each of the elastic arms so as to be located further toward the free end side than the key locking protrusion, and the key is fully inserted into the connector housing. A locking recess into which each of the key locking protrusions fits when the terminal is fully inserted is provided in each inner wall in the width direction of the terminal accommodating chamber. A connector characterized in that each terminal is provided with terminal protrusions that are prevented from coming off by terminal locking protrusions.
