DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for producing a cross-element, and more particularly to a method for manufacturing a cross-element having a generally short cylindrical shape and having a plurality of concentric pleat structures made of paper, nonwoven fabric, or other materials. The purpose is to provide a method for efficiently manufacturing high-quality superelements of such a structure.

Conventionally, this type of over-element was manufactured by folding triangular or fan-shaped paper with one end pointed and the other open so that the cross section becomes wavy, and then bending this into a ring shape. A method is adopted in which the two ends are joined together to form a cylindrical body having concentric chevron folds. However, in this method, a single piece of material with many chevron-shaped folds is forcibly bent to form a cylindrical shape, resulting in a significant difference in circumference due to the difference in the radius of each peak and valley. This not only makes it difficult to form a cylindrical body, but also causes parts that come into contact with adjacent peaks and valleys, wrinkles, and deformation, making it difficult to obtain a good product. .

As a result of intensive research, the inventors of the present invention have improved the conventional drawbacks, and can easily obtain a product in which peaks and valleys are correctly arranged concentrically at predetermined intervals, and the shape is not limited to a cylindrical shape. The method of the present invention has been completed, which allows various polygonal cylindrical shapes to be easily obtained, and also enables the desired size of the main body to be easily obtained.

That is, in the present invention, a large number of unit cylindrical bodies with different diameters each formed of a double wall whose circumferential wall has a cross-section of This method is characterized in that after a required number of parts are sequentially and concentrically fitted, the matching lower end peripheral parts are respectively joined and integrated.

FIG. 1 is a plan view of a cross-element obtained by the method of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the same taken along line A-A'. 3 to 5 are perspective views illustrating the structure of vertically dividing unit cylinders prepared in advance in the present invention, and numerals 11, 12, and 13 are fitted to the outside of each unit cylinder in sequence. Each of these unit cylinders is made of a known material such as paper, non-woven fabric, or a porous sponge, and is a double-walled cylinder with a cross section of ∧ shape, an inner wall A and an outer wall B forming a peripheral wall, and an open top and bottom. is doing. It is not limited to a cylinder, but may be any polygonal cylinder if necessary. Usually, it can be easily made by folding a long and thin material in half in the longitudinal direction from the center, curving it into a ring shape, and gluing or fusing both ends.
Alternatively, it may be integrally molded or made into paper by an appropriate molding means. For example, a mold of the same shape is made using fine mesh wire mesh, etc., and this is inserted into a suspension of paper raw material and suctioned from the back side. After depositing the raw material to a predetermined thickness on the surface of the mold, the mold is released. When the mold is released, a seamless unit cylindrical body is obtained.

In any case, the main body is constructed by sequentially fitting a required number of unit cylindrical bodies obtained in this way in multiples. That is, as shown in FIG. 3, a unit cylinder 11 having an outer diameter a is fitted with a unit cylinder 12 (FIG. 4) having an inner diameter b equal to a, and then the unit cylinder 11 has an outer diameter a. A unit cylindrical body 13 (FIG. 5) having an inner diameter d equal to the outer diameter c of 12 is further fitted on the outside thereof, and subsequent unit cylindrical bodies up to the required size are fitted in the same manner. Next, the lower end peripheral edges 1, 2', 2 of each unit cylinder
, 3', etc. Similarly, if the lower end peripheral portions that are adjacent to each other and coincide with each other are joined by adhesive means or adhesive means such as heat fusion (see Fig. 6), Figs. 1 and 2 are formed.
A over-element is obtained having a number of concentrically folded chevron folds as shown in the figure.

According to the present invention, since the unit cylindrical body having a single structure is manufactured in advance, it can be reliably and easily manufactured using a simple device without requiring special techniques, and furthermore, the fitting and assembly thereof is extremely easy. In addition, an element with a large number of corrugations can be obtained, and the size of the element, that is, the size of the element, can be adjusted to suit needs by increasing or decreasing the number of units in the unit cylinder. . Therefore, since the unit cylindrical body is easily and accurately manufactured,
The obtained element is highly functional, with accurate chevron folds, without contact or deformation between the chevron-shaped folds, as is the case with conventional methods, and can be manufactured easily and efficiently. It is extremely large.
