Because of this, it is extremely unstable and prone to tilting and displacement. The inclination and displacement also occur due to the implantation bias of the leg piece during press-fitting.

Press-fitting the contact into the slot using a jig is extremely difficult, and there is a risk that the contact may be deformed by external force during press-fitting.

とができる。Effects of the Invention Since the present invention is configured as described above, the contact is pushed from the side into the contact holding wall formed by the bottom wall of the upper and lower slots using the upper and lower holding pieces of the horizontal L-shaped holding part. The assembly of the contact carrier holder and the contact group can be easily formed by simply assembling the contact carrier, and there is no possibility of deformation or twisting of the leg, as would be the case when a contact is implanted with a single pin into the bottom wall of the slot using its leg. , there is no risk of causing tilting, etc., and therefore the contact can be implanted in an appropriate posture and pitch. Further, it has the advantage that a group of contacts can be implanted in a series at one time, labor saving in the assembly process can be achieved, and cost can be reduced. The contact elastically clamps the contact retaining wall with a horizontal U-shaped clamping part that supports a contact piece that can be elastically displaced up and down, and engages with the contact retaining wall using an engaging claw provided on the clamping part. By holding the horizontal U-shaped clamping part to prevent the contact from coming out, the contact can be more firmly implanted into the contact holding wall, and the elastic contact piece can be stably supported in the upper slot by the horizontal U-shaped clamping part. can do.
