Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the maximum use of ordinary paper effectively as recording paper by providing first and second recording means which thermally transfer and print data on both faces of recording paper to thermally transfer records on both faces. CONSTITUTION:Received recording picture data is inputted to a memory part 1, and recording picture data of odd pages and that of even pages are alternately stored in memories A and B. Meanwhile, a recording picture data control part 2 discriminates recording designation of one face or both faces by the designation from the external and sends recording picture data in memories A and B of a memory part 1 to a front face recording control part 3 and a rear face recording control part 4 respectively at the same timing in the case of recording designation of both faces and controls printing of a front face recording part 5 and a rear face recording part 6.
