従来、この種の熱転写方式のファクシミリ装置は、記録

通紙の片面のみを熱転写して記録を行なっているので、

本発明の熱転写方式のファクシミリ装置は、記録する画
データを頁毎に記憶する第1と第2の記憶手段と、記録

手段と、操作指定により前記第1と第2の記憶手段から
読み出した画データを前記第1と第2の記録手段に出力

メモリ部1内のメモリA及びメモリBに対し交互に1頁
ずつの記録画データを表記針制御部3へ送出するよう制
御する。また、両面記録指定時にはメモリ部1内のメモ
リAの記録画データを表記針制御部3へ送出し、メモリ
Bの記録画データを実記録制御部4へ同じタイミングで
送出する。表記針制御部3及び実記録制御部4はそれぞ
れ記録画データ制御部からの記録画データについて拡大
・縮少・等倍の処理を行ない、表記緑部5及び実記録部
6に対して印字制御を行なう。表記緑部5及び実記録部
6はともに感熱式記録ヘッド7と熱転写フィルム8を利
用したものであるので、普通紙である記録紙9に対して
両面から印字できる。ここで片面記録か両面記録かの指
定をする条件として外部指定としたが、具体的には操作
