In the dishwasher according to the present invention, the sliding door is fitted with guide rails on both sides thereof, and is configured to slide along the opening and engage in a direction substantially perpendicular to the opening. , the sliding door will not be opened due to increased internal pressure or water pressure that occurs during cleaning, no door locking mechanism is required, and centrifugal force does not act when the door is opened.
Water attached to the door will not be scattered around. In addition, a watertight structure (labyrinth) is formed at the fitting portion of the sliding door and the guide rail to prevent water leakage, so there is no need for a gasket for preventing water leakage, and it can be implemented at low cost. Moreover, since the sliding door opens and closes along the outer shell of the main unit, the sliding door does not protrude from the main unit, and there is no need for a space in front of or above the main unit for the door, so it can be installed in a small space. can do.

In addition, by forming a water guide path that communicates inside the main body at the lower end with both guide rails and both sides of the sliding door that fits into the guide rails, water that is about to leak outside through the fitting part is removed from the main body. This can effectively prevent water from leaking to the outside. Moreover, the water flowing through the water guideway can wash away dirt, dust, etc. that has adhered to the inside of the guide rail, which is not only sanitary.
Smooth sliding of the door is always ensured. Furthermore, the water remaining in the water guiding path also functions as a lubricant that facilitates opening and closing of the sliding door, allowing the sliding door to open and close smoothly.

Furthermore, by providing a saucer at the lower end of the opening in the main body to catch water leaking from the fitting parts between both guide rails and both sides of the sliding door and letting it flow into the main body, it is possible to prevent water from leaking out from the fitting parts. Even when the water is wet, it can catch all of the water and drain it into the main body, and the water will not leak into the surrounding area and will not wet the floor.

In addition, if the temperature in the cleaning chamber R1 is low in the early stage of cleaning, and the cleaning water in the tank 17 is high temperature, the air in the cleaning chamber R1 will be filled with high-temperature cleaning water at the moment it is sprayed from both cleaning nozzles 22 and 23. It gets warmed up and expands into air, causing an increase in internal pressure. This increase in internal pressure is eliminated by a part of the air in the cleaning chamber R1 flowing out through the exhaust passage formed between the shielding plate 16 and the cover 19;
8, the door 18 is pushed outward, and the door 18 and the outer portions of the guide rails 31, 32 come into pressure contact in a direction substantially perpendicular to the sliding direction. Therefore, it goes without saying that the door 18 will not be opened, and the sealing performance between the door 18 and both guide rails 31 and 32 is improved. This phenomenon can also be obtained by the internal water pressure acting on the door 18 (the pressure of the washing water sprayed from both washing nozzles 22 and 23).

In summary, in this embodiment, the door 18 fits into the guide rails 31, 32 on both sides, and the opening A
Since the door 18 is configured to slide along the opening A and engage in a direction substantially perpendicular to the opening A, the door 18 will not be opened due to internal pressure generated during cleaning, and a door lock mechanism is not required. Further, when the door is opened, no centrifugal force is applied, and water adhering to the door 18 is not scattered around. Additionally, a labyrinth is formed at the fitting portion between the door 18 and the guide rails 31 and 32, preventing water leakage.
No need for water leakage prevention gaskets, etc., and it can be implemented at low cost. Moreover, since the door 18 is opened and closed along the shielding plate 16 provided above the main body 10, that is, along the outer shell, the door 18 is opened and closed along the shielding plate 16 provided above the main body 10.
The door 18 does not protrude from the main body 10, does not require a space for the door 18 in front of or above the main body 10, and can be installed in a small space.

In addition, since a water guide path P communicating with the inside of the main body 10 at the lower end is formed by both guide rails 31 and 32 and both sides of the door 18 that fit therewith, there is no possibility that the water will leak outside through the fitting part. water can be guided into the tank 17 of the main body 10, and water leakage to the outside can be effectively prevented.

Moreover, the water flowing in the water guideway P causes the guide rail 3 to
Dirt, dust, etc. adhering to the inside of the door 1 and 32 can be washed away, which is not only sanitary but also ensures smooth sliding of the door 18 at all times. In addition, the water remaining in the water guide path P also functions as a lubricant that facilitates opening and closing of the door 18.
The door 18 can be opened and closed smoothly.
