The conventional power cable terminal connection section configured as described above has an inner diameter d of the insertion hole of the cylindrical insulating spacer 14.
is designed to be approximately 1 mm smaller than the outer diameter D of the cable insulating layer 11, and the insulation properties of the terminal end are maintained by the tight fitting pressure generated at the fitting interface when the insulating spacer 14 is fitted onto the cable insulating layer 11. It is becoming more and more common. Therefore, large insulating spacer 1
4 and a cylindrical insulator 15, if you try to insert the insulating spacer 14 onto the cable insulating layer 11 with the cylindrical insulator 15 on the outside, it will not fit properly. The outward bulge of the insulating spacer 14 that occurs during insertion is suppressed by the rigid cylindrical insulator 15 placed over it, resulting in a very large frictional resistance. When placed on the insulating layer 11, the outer diameter of the insulating spacer 14 becomes larger than the inner diameter of the cylindrical insulator 15 due to fitting onto the cable insulating layer, and therefore the cylindrical insulator 1 is placed on the insulating spacer 14.
It is very difficult to insert and insert 5, and it requires a lot of labor and a long time, as lubricant and mechanical force are required during the insertion and assembly.

In view of the above points, the present invention attempts to solve the conventional problems by forming a spiral groove on the fitting circumferential surface of a cylindrical insulating spacer that is fitted onto the cable insulating layer. .

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In FIG. 2, 1 is a cable insulating layer, 2 is a cylindrical insulating spacer made of EP rubber or the like, which is inserted on the cable insulating layer 1, and 3 is a cylindrical insulating spacer made of EP rubber, etc. The hole diameter d of the fitting hole of the cylindrical insulating spacer 2 is slightly smaller than the outer diameter D of the cable insulation layer 1, and the hole diameter d of the fitting hole of the cylindrical insulating spacer 2 is a spiral groove formed on the inner peripheral surface of the fitting hole of the insulating spacer 2. As shown in FIG. 3, the spiral groove 3 formed on the inner circumferential surface of the insertion hole has a peak diameter d 1 of d 1 ≒ D and a valley diameter d 2 of d 2
<D. Specifically, the diameter d 1 of the peak of the spiral groove 3 with respect to the outer diameter D of the cable insulation layer
is D-d 1 = 0.1 to 0 mm, and the valley diameter d 2 is D-d 2
Shape to 1mm. 4 is insulating spacer 2
A cylindrical insulator is placed on top, 5 is a terminal fitting which is compressed and connected by inserting a cable conductor 6 into the cavity, and 7 is an insulating layer applied from the cable end to the insulating spacer 2.

As described above, the present invention has a spiral groove 3 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole of the cylindrical insulating spacer 2 placed on the cable insulating layer 1. When the insulating spacer 2 is fitted alone or over it together with the cylindrical insulator 4, the frictional resistance of the fitting surface is small, and the fitting and assembly work can be performed extremely easily. All the air present in the groove of the spiral groove 3 is pushed outward through the spiral groove 3, and the inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole of the insulating spacer is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the cable insulation layer 1 by the tight fitting pressure. There is no risk of corona discharge occurring, and a cable end connection with excellent electrical characteristics can be obtained.
