Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent discrepancy amount the generation of a sound, a guiding means, and a deflection coil, by providing a magnetic field guiding means on a deflection oil unit to fill the space in the periphery of the deflection coil unit with an insulating material. CONSTITUTION: A supporter 8 for an insulating material, having front and rear end part 9 and 10, is provided on a deflection unit 7, and a line deflection coil 11 for horizontal deflection and a field deflection coil 12 for vertical deflection are provided on the inner and outer sides of the supporter 8 respectively. The coils 11 and 12 are surrounded by the annular core 14 having ferromagnetic body material, and a magnetic field guiding means 15 is fixed to the support 8, between the coils 11 and 12, to be enclosed into the insulating material 16. This can eliminate the generation of an undesirable sound to prevent adverse effect to an image due to the slippage between the guiding means 15 and the deflection coils 11 and 12.
