Recently, bicycles equipped with mountain cycle handles have been put into practical use for leisure and sports cycles. This was originally a bicycle for cycling on steep terrain like motocross riding, and its handlebar was a protruding part that sloped upward from the upper end of the handle post 1, as shown in Figure 1. It has a structure in which a handlebar 5 is fixed to the tip of a pipe 4. Therefore, since the upper end of the handle post 1 is lower than the position of the handlebar 5, the driver does not feel pressured, and even if he falls, there is less risk of hitting his chest or the like with the upper end. It has the advantage of improving safety.

However, in conventional mountain cycle handles, the proximal end of the protruding pipe is brazed to the handle post, so a brazing allowance is required, and the upper end of the handle post slightly protrudes above the protruding pipe. Since this upper edge is perpendicular to the axis, when a washer is fitted into the upper opening, the amount of upward protrusion of the protruding pipe from the axial extension becomes quite large when viewed from the driver's side. Therefore, in reality, safety in the event of a fall cannot be said to be perfect, giving the driver a considerable sense of pressure. Furthermore, since the protruding pipe and the upper surface of the washer formed at a certain angle, the appearance was also unfavorable.

Therefore, the present invention further improves the safety of a mountain cycle handlebar in which the handlebar is fixed to the tip of a protruding pipe that slopes upward from near the upper end of the handlebar post, thereby reducing the feeling of pressure on the rider. The upper end opening of the handle post is cut with the same slope as the protruding pipe, and the upper surface of the handle post has a similar slope, and a gently spherical washer with no sharp edge is fitted into the upper end opening. This is characterized in that the upper end of the pull-up rod is secured to the washer.

The handle post 1 is attached to a vehicle body (not shown) at a predetermined angle by a pull-up bar 2, and a collar 3 is fitted and fixed to the upper end of the handle post 1 by brazing. And this color 3 has 2
The protruding pipes 4 are brazed radially, and the protruding pipes 4 are inclined upward at an angle of about 45 degrees, and the tip of the protruding pipes 4 have handlebars attached to them.
It is a mountain cycle handle with a fixed handle. Here, the upper end of the handle post 1, together with the collar 3, is cut off at the same angle as the inclination angle of the protruding pipe 4 just above the brazing allowance, and the upper end opening has an elliptical shape. A washer 6 for engaging the pulling rod 2 is fitted into this upper end opening, and the upper surface of this washer 6 is also a gently spherical surface with no sharp edge and having the same angle as the inclination angle of the protruding pipe 4. There is. Therefore, compared to the case where the upper end opening is perpendicular to the axis of the handle post 1 in the conventional example,
As shown in FIG. 1, the upper edge of the handle post 1 on the driver's side is lowered, and the upper surface of the washer 6 faces the driver. Therefore, the feeling of pressure on the driver gradually decreases, and even if the driver falls and hits his/her chest, the upper surface of the washer 6 will hit instead of the right-angled edge as in the conventional case, so the area of the bruise will be smaller. As the impact increases, the impact is dispersed and gradually becomes smaller, improving safety. Furthermore, the upper surface of the protruding pipe 4 and the upper surface of the washer 6 are continuous, which has the advantage of improving the appearance.

As explained above, the present invention is such that the upper end opening of the handle post is cut at an angle similar to the inclination angle of the protruding pipe, and the upper surface of the washer fitted thereto is also cut at the same angle, and there is no sharp edge. Since it has a gently spherical surface, it is possible to further improve the safety of the mountain cycle handlebar and to further reduce the feeling of pressure on the driver.
