この考案は自転車用ハンドルに関するものであ

最近はレジヤーおよびスポーツサイクル用とし
て、マウンテンサイクル用ハンドルが装着された
自転車が実用化されている。これは元来、起状の
激しい場所をモトクロスライデイングの様にサイ
クリングするための自転車であつて、そのハンド
ルは、第1図に示すようにハンドルポスト1の上
端部より上方に向つて傾斜する突出パイプ4の先
端にハンドルバー5が固着された構造となつてい
る。従つて、ハンドルポスト1の上端部がハンド
ルバー5の位置よりも低くなるので、運転者に圧
迫感を与えず、また転倒してもこの上端部で胸部
などを強く打つ危険性が低くなつて安全性が向上

は、ハンドルポストの上端開口が突出パイプと同
様な傾斜で切截され、この上端開口に上面が同じ
く同様の傾斜をなすし、シヤープエツヂのない緩
球面の座金が嵌着され、この座金に引上棒の上端

度で傾斜しており、その先端にはハンドルバー5
が固着されたマウンテンサイクル用ハンドルとな

プ4の傾斜角度と同じ角度で切截されており、上
端開口は楕円形をなしている。そして、この上端

対面するようになつている。このため、運転者に
与える圧迫感はずつと少なくなり、また、転倒し
て胸部などを打つたとしても、従来例のように直
角な端縁ではなく、座金6の上面が当るため、打
撲面積が大きくなつてその衝撃が分散されてずつ
と小さくなり、安全性が向上する。更には、突出
パイプ4の上面と座金6の上面が連続的となつて
