Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate twisting step which has been performed separately from a weaving step and to remarkably reduce the cost of weaving by placing a twister and a suction nozzle on a weft flying path at the downstream end of weft insertion by an ejection nozzle, thereby twisting the weft simultaneous to the weft insertion. CONSTITUTION:A weft 3 having a definite length and stored in a pool drum 7 is inserted through opened warps with an ejection nozzle 4 and the tip end of the weft 3 is inserted through the yarn path of a twister 12 and the yarn path 10 of a suction nozzle 9 and held by sucking. At the same time, the weft 3 is fixed by a gripper 17, twisted with a twister 12 and woven by the next opening motion. At the weaving stage, cutters 18, 19 are operated to cut and separate the weft 3 and the phase is transferred to the next weft-insertion stage. The above cycle is successively repeated to form a woven fabric.

In this way, since the weft yarns can be twisted during the weaving process, the twisting process, which was performed separately from the weaving process, can be omitted, which not only eliminates the need for twisting equipment, but also eliminates the labor involved in twisting the yarn. This will result in significant cost reductions.

The weft 3 sprayed from the spray nozzle 4 is placed on the other side frame 1b.
A suction nozzle 9, which is a holding part for suctioning and holding the tip part of the body with a predetermined tension, is attached. The suction nozzle 9 has a structure in which an injection hole 11 is formed to inject compressed air so that a suction flow is generated in a yarn path 10 through which the weft yarn 3 is inserted. Note that the suction nozzle 9 may be driven open from the time when the injection nozzle 4 is injecting to the time when thread waste at the cut end of the thread is removed by driving a cutter, which will be described later, but it may be driven constantly. . A waste thread collection box or the like may be attached to the exit side of the suction nozzle 9 to collect thread waste.

A passage 14 is formed, and two injection holes 15 and 16 are formed in the front and rear for injecting compressed air into the yarn passage 14 to form a swirling flow.

In this case, one of the injection holes 15 injects pressurized air counterclockwise from the tangential direction into the thread passage 814 as shown in FIG. As shown, pressurized air is injected clockwise from the tangential direction into the yarn passage 14 to generate a Z twist. Further, the entrance 14a of the yarn passage 14 is formed into a conical shape so that the yarn can easily enter.

When the warp yarns 2 are opened, the jet nozzle 4 is driven, and a certain length of the weft yarn 3 stored in the pool drum 7 is driven from the jet nozzle 4 into the opening of the warp yarn 2, and the tip of the weft yarn 3 is inserted into the twister. 12 thread passages 14 and the thread road 10 of the suction nozzle 9.

Immediately after the injection nozzle 4 is driven, the gripper 17 and the twister 12 are driven, and the twister 12 turns around the weft 3, one end of which is gripped and fixed by the gripper 17 and the other end of which is suctioned and held with a predetermined tension by the suction nozzle 9. Add twist according to the flow. One end of the weft yarn 3 is fixed by the gripper 17, and the other end becomes a free end by suction and holding by the suction nozzle 9, so that the weft yarn 3 is given a real twist by the twister 12.

The time for the twister 12 to twist the weft yarn 3 is determined by the shedding speed of the warp yarn 2 and the twisting ability of the twister 12. By twisting the weft yarn 3 and forming the next opening in the warp yarn 2, the weft yarn 3 is woven into the warp yarn 2,
At that point, both ends of the weft yarn 3 are cut by the cutters 18 and 19, and the injection nozzle 4 inserts the weft yarn 3 into the next opening, so that the fabric is woven in sequence. The cut yarn end of the suction nozzle 9111i is blown off as waste yarn by the suction nozzle 9 and collected in a waste yarn collection box or the like.

In this way, since the weft yarn 3 can be twisted during the weaving process, the twisting process that was previously performed separately from the weaving process can be omitted, which not only eliminates the need for a twisting device but also reduces the time and effort involved in the twisting process. This can be omitted, resulting in significant cost savings.

In the above embodiment, a combination of two types of nozzles was used as the twister 12, but it is also possible to use only one type of nozzle, and the twister 12 may be a belt type one as shown in FIG. It may also have the function of a holding part as shown in FIG. Belt type twister 1
2 is a pair of belt devices 23, 24 in which an endless belt 22 is wound between two belt pulleys 20, 21, arranged so as to intersect with each other so as to sandwich the weft thread 3, and both belts 22, 22 are rotated in the direction of the arrow. By driving, the weft threads 3 are twisted. In this case, the belt is equipped with a double-sided belt that can be switched to S-twist or Z-twist depending on the direction of rotation of the belt 22°22! The belts 23 and 24 are opened and closed so as to sandwich and release the weft thread 3 between the belts 22 and 22. The twister 12, which has the function of a holding section, is used as a thread threader F! for inserting the weft into the main body 13, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. An injection hole 25 is formed to form a tangential flow of pressurized air into the yarn passage 14 to generate a swirling flow, and is inclined toward the exit so as to generate a suction flow. According to this twister 12, the weft yarn 3 can be twisted while being suctioned and applying a predetermined tension, so the suction nozzle 10 is not necessary.

[Effects of the Invention] In short, according to the present invention, it is possible to twist the weft yarns during the weaving process, so the twisting process, which was performed separately from the weaving process, can be omitted, and a twisting device is no longer necessary. In addition, the labor of twisting the yarn can be omitted, resulting in a significant cost reduction.
