In recent years, more people are suffering from athlete's foot due to the increase in the amount of time spent wearing shoes and the spread of shoes, insoles, socks, etc. made mainly of synthetic resin. Furthermore, due to changes in living and working environments, the number of people who complain of lack of exercise, get tired easily, and have health concerns is increasing.

In the past, antibacterial metals such as copper or silver were made into ultra-fine wires and mixed into fibers, but spinning ultra-fine metal wires was technically difficult and expensive. Moreover, as a property of the metal itself, it has poor M flexibility compared to fiber materials, and has the disadvantage of breaking into small pieces and tearing off as it is used.

Therefore, as previously disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 57-20401, the present applicant has proposed that fine copper or silver powder mixed into a plastic material such as rubber or synthetic resin be applied to a woven fabric in dots or lines. We proposed a footwear material that is bonded and foamed with a foaming agent. According to this footwear material, since the metal is coated in a plastic material, the metal does not fall off during use or wash away during washing, and can maintain its effectiveness over a long period of time. be.

First, when trying to impart an acupressure effect to footwear materials such as those mentioned above, a plastic material mixed with a metal powder having an antibacterial effect, such as copper or silver, is applied to the parts that come into contact with the skin, such as the soles of the feet. It is conceivable to form it into a relatively large protrusion and apply an acupressure effect to the skin of the sole of the foot using the protrusion. However, in this case, in order to ensure a good antibacterial effect, it is necessary to provide a large number of large protrusions mixed with metal powder as described above over a wide area of the woven fabric that comes into contact with the skin. Not only does the amount used increase, which increases costs, but the plastic materials mixed with the metals are required to have flexibility and water absorption, so they are made soft by foaming, and such soft protrusions are not satisfactory. You cannot get the desired acupressure effect. On the other hand, if the plastic material is made to have low foaming or is not foamed and is made into large protrusions, the protrusions will become hard and an acupressure effect can be expected, but the flexibility and water absorption of the woven fabric will decrease, and the sole metal The soles of your feet will hurt as a result of being hit by many hard, large protrusions over the area. However, providing the protrusions only at appropriate locations on the soles of the feet does not provide the satisfactory antibacterial effect as described above.

Next, from above the woven fabric 2 on which the plastic material containing copper or silver is pasted in the form of fine dots 3... or in the form of a line, a suitable place on the sole 5 of the woven fabric 2, for example, a circular As a filler, a synthetic resin such as vinyl acetate copolymer, vinyl chloride resin, or urethane resin, or rubber, etc., with the composition shown in Table 2, is applied to the positions where it should come into contact with various pressure points on the sole 5 of the foot. Relatively large protrusions can be created by applying and drying a suitable mixture of calcium carbonate, carbon blank, silica, ceramic powder, etc., zinc oxide, diatom, talc, china clay, etc. using an appropriate method. 4 will be provided.

Table 2 When forming the protrusions 4, the hardness and size of the protrusions 4 can be adjusted by adding a foaming agent to the mixture as needed. At this time, when the amount of the foaming agent added is large, the protrusions become larger and taller, but on the other hand, their hardness becomes softer, and when the amount of the foaming agent added is small or not added at all, the protrusions become hard.

Furthermore, when zinc oxide is added in the above case, athlete's foot can be prevented and treated more effectively due to the antiperspirant effect of the added zinc oxide as well as the antibacterial effect of the antibacterial metal such as copper or silver. In addition, germanium improves blood circulation and relieves stiffness and irritation, and diatomaceous earth, talc, china clay, etc. have the effect of preventing unpleasant foot odor due to their adsorption and deodorizing properties. Various compounds can be appropriately added and blended into the dot-like adhesive material 3 or anywhere in the protrusions 4.

The socks 1 made as described above are made by pasting and foaming an antibacterial agent such as copper or silver contained in a plastic material such as rubber or synthetic resin over a wide area on the woven fabric 2 of the sock 1. The metal has properties that prevent the growth of mold and the like, making it possible to prevent and treat athlete's foot. In this case, if the synthetic resin is attached to the entire surface of the woven fabric 2, it will prevent the absorption of sweat, reduce its elasticity, and make the adhesion to the feet worse. By adhering to the sock 1, the flexibility and breathability of the sock 1 will not be impaired, and sweat absorption will not be hindered. And in this case,
It is also possible to increase the density of the toe area as appropriate. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the point-shaped plastic material 3 adhered to a wide area of the woven fabric 2 is foamed, so it is highly flexible. The lining does not hurt and has excellent water absorption, preventing athlete's foot,
Promote therapeutic effect. In addition, just by wearing this sock 1, the pressure points on the sole of the foot can be stimulated due to the acupressure effect of the large hard protrusions 4 provided at appropriate locations on the sole of the sock 1, depending on the position of the pressure points, for example. The effect of stepping on bamboo improves blood circulation and is also useful for improving health. Furthermore, in the above case, by adding zinc oxide to the dotted patch 3 or the projections 4, an antiperspirant effect is imparted to prevent foot stuffiness and to more effectively prevent and treat athlete's foot. , diatomaceous earth, talc, china clay, etc., can prevent the generation of unpleasant foot odor due to the deodorizing effect due to their adsorption action. When germanium is added, the action of germanium improves blood circulation and can be effective in improving stiffness, sore throat, etc.
