時、それら両磁石5,8の相対面する極が互いに
同極となし反発する状態に設けてあり、具体的に
は例えば双方をN極5a,8aとして対面せしめ
る。更に他の面7の磁石9がドアの磁石5と対面
した際には、それら両磁石5,9の互いに対面す
る極が異極となり互いに吸着し合うように設けた
もので、例えばドアの磁石5の表面がN極5aで
あれば、ストツパーの磁石9の表面をS極9bと
なるように設けてある。しかもストツパー3の両
磁石8,9の外側面とストツパーの軸4の軸芯間
までの間隔をほぼ同様に保つように設けてある。

定しておけば、両磁石が近接するに従つて反発力
が即座に発生し、ドアが勢いよく開放してもドア
に瞬時的な衝撃を与えることがなく、無音で確実
に停止するものである。またドアを開放した後
に、ストツパーの磁石をドアの磁石に対して吸着
するように回転して設定することによつて、ドア
が開放された状態が保持され、風に煽られて揺れ
動くことがなく、開放時及び開いたままの状態時
にドアに衝撃を与えないように保護するものであ
る。更に、ストツパーの軸芯と各磁石の外側面ま
での間隔をほぼ同様にしてあるので、反発の状態
でドアを開けた後にストツパーを回転して吸着す
る際に、磁石によつてドアに傷を付けることがな
く、安全にストツパーを回転して切り替えできる
ものである。
