生装置において、 上記磁気テープの走行経路の所定位置における
テープテンシヨンに応じてレベル変化するテンシ
ヨン検出信号を出力するテープテンシヨン検出手
段と、 少なくとも前記磁気テープの走行方向に応じて
異なる状態となるモード信号を出力するモード信
号出力手段と、 上記テンシヨン検出信号と上記モード信号を入
力し、上記テンシヨン検出信号が上記モード信号
の各状態にそれぞれ対応した異なるレベル状態と
なるようにリールモーターを駆動する制御回路と
を設け、 上記制御回路が上記モード信号の状態に応じて
そのゲイン及び/または位相特性を変えるように
したことを特徴とする回転ヘツド式磁気記録再生
装置。
