動コイルを装着するとともに、前記レンズホルダ
ーを磁気回路により形成される磁界中に配置する
ことにより前記駆動コイルに流される制御信号に
応じて前記対物レンズが駆動可能に成された対物
レンズ駆動装置において、前記レンズホルダー及
び前記磁気回路を覆うべくフレームに取付けられ
るカバーを磁性体の鋼板により形成するとともに
、前記磁気回路の構成部品であり、磁石の一方の
磁極面に付設されるヨークを該ヨークのそれぞれ
の開放端が前記カバーに接触するべく形成したこ
