That is, the catalyst itself has a limited lifespan, and if its performance deteriorates, it becomes difficult to adsorb unburned gas, and the adsorption performance cannot be restored unless the catalyst itself is replaced. As mentioned above, conventional odor reduction devices have the disadvantage that they have a limited lifespan and must be replaced.

The kerosene is passed through the oil pipe 7 by the pump 8, reaches the vaporizer 4, is vaporized and becomes gas, and is sent to the nozzle 3.
The fuel is ejected into the burner 2, exits from the burner port, and is combusted. This series of operations maintains the combustion state.

Furthermore, in conventional control, in FIG. 2, when the user of the device presses the fire extinguishing switch 14 to extinguish the fire, the microcomputer 15 of the control circuit section 13 detects this, and the microcomputer 15 stops the pump drive circuit 12. Stop pump 8. At the same time, the microcomputer 15 closes the solenoid valve 5 to extinguish the fire. However, before the pump 8 stops, a large amount of the unburned gas ejected from the nozzle 3 remains in the burner 2 and is extinguished. The unburned gas left in the burner 2 gradually came out of the burner 2 and was adsorbed by the catalyst.

る。 In the present invention, when the user of the device presses the fire extinguishing switch shown in Fig. 2 14 to extinguish a fire, the microcomputer 15 of the control circuit section 13 detects that the switch has been pressed, and the microcomputer 15 enters into control to extinguish the fire. .
That is, as shown in FIG. 4, the microcomputer 15
A signal is sent to the pump circuit 12 to bring the combustion state lower than the current combustion state. In other words, the amount of oil fed by the pump 8 is reduced. The oil amount C shown in Fig. 3 is at the time of weak combustion.
Point A is the point at which the fire extinguishing switch is pressed, and at this time, the microcomputer 15 reduces the oil amount in several steps or steplessly, as shown by the oil amount D, which is controlled in several steps by the signal sent from the microcomputer 15. In other words, the combustion amount is reduced to several levels lower than weak combustion. The microcomputer 15 stops the pump circuit 12 at the time B when the flame detection device 11 is activated, that is, when the flame is extinguished, and simultaneously closes the solenoid valve 5 to completely extinguish the fire. That is, the microcomputer 15 gradually reduces the amount of oil in the pump until the flame goes out, thereby reducing the amount of vaporized gas ejected from the nozzle 3, and reduces the amount of unburned gas 1 in the burner 2 at the time the flame goes out. This is to keep the amount to a minimum. As a result, only a small amount of unburned gas exits from the burner 2 to the outside, and the odor is significantly reduced.

By doing so, the fire can be extinguished in a state that minimizes odors, regardless of the amount of combustion before extinguishing.
