れダクトを通じて廃紙集積所へ送られるが、この
方法は騒音を伴うので、連続帳票処理機械のよう
に事務所で使用する機械には不適当である。他の
方法としては、カツター等でスリツト屑を適当な
長さに切断することによりコンパクトにすること
も試みられているが、カツターの騒音、紙粉等の
問題を生じる。一層簡易な解決法として存在する
のが、米国特許第3857557号が開示している「巻
紙処理装置」であり、フオークに類似した形状の
巻取軸にスリツト屑を巻取らせている。
