Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically easily and stably correct the deterioration of the potential characteristic of a photosensitive body at a low temperature by measuring the time from turning on a power source till attaining a certain temperature and judging whether or not the circumferential temperature is low in a control part. CONSTITUTION:Generated heat from a halogen lamp 1 is transmitted to a paper by a heat roller 2. The surface temperature of the roller 2 is detected by a sensor 3. A pressure roller 4 applies pressure to the heat roller 2 and the halogen lamp 1 is controlled to be energized according to an output from the sensor 3, then the surface temperature of the roller 2 is kept constant by the control part 5. The paper to which toner is transferred passes between the roller 2 whose surface temperature is kept constant and the roller 4, so that the toner is thermally fixed on the paper. The control part 5 measures the time from turning on the power source till attaining the specified time TF. When the measured time is longer than a specified time, the control part 5 judges that the circumferential temperature is low and changes developing bias voltage or increases exposure, thereby correcting the deterioration of the potential characteristic of the photosensitive body at the low temperature.

が低いと判断するように構成している。

ャローラ4の間を通過すると、ハロゲンランプ1からの
熱によりトナーは用紙に定着される、この電子写真記録
装置においては、電源スィッチをオンにすると、ヒート
ローラ2の表面温度をある一定温度まで上昇させるが、
