し、爆発性雰囲気外より通路5を通して入口4よ
り供給される保護ガスが内部を周囲の爆発性雰囲
気より高圧に保持する、密閉された外部灯体1と
、 外部灯体内に配置され、内部にランプ7と、反
射体8が収納され、下面に、外部灯体の照射窓の
ガラスの内面に近接して配置された開口部10を
有し、この開口部の縁部にガラスの内面との間隙
の幅を規制するガイド12が設けられ、開口部か
らガラス面を冷却しながら入つた外部灯体内の保
護ガスが、ランプ、反射体を冷却後、上方に設け
られた出口13から通路14を介して爆発性雰囲
気外まで直接排出されるようになされた、内部灯
体6を具備することを特徴とする防爆型紫外線照
