The present invention relates to a removal agent for eye makeup cosmetics such as eyeliner and mascara, and provides a product that does not cause irritation to the eyes or the skin around them when removing cosmetics applied around the eyes. It is intended to. In recent years, eye make-up cosmetics such as mascara and eyeliner have been developed to remove moisture such as sweat and seawater.
It is important that makeup does not easily come off due to oils such as sebum. In order to obtain this function, products such as non-aqueous types whose main ingredients are low-boiling isoparaffinic hydrocarbons and oil agents, and film-forming types whose main ingredients are synthetic resin emulsions and water have been put into practical use. However, as a result of emphasis on the property that makeup does not easily come off, recent eye makeup cosmetics have come to have the disadvantage that they are difficult to remove. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop a removal agent for removing the cosmetics. However, the problem with conventional removers is that removers that have sufficient removal ability are highly irritating to eye mucous membranes, skin, etc., while those that are designed to be hypoallergenic have poor removal ability. . As a result of intensive research in view of these problems, the present inventors have succeeded in obtaining an extremely excellent eye makeup remover that has sufficient removal ability and is not irritating to the eye mucous membranes, skin, etc. And, the present invention was completed. That is, the present invention uses one or more monoesters or diesters having 23 to 28 carbon atoms in combination with 10 to 28 carbon atoms.
40% by weight, low boiling isoparaffinic hydrocarbons
0.5-5% by weight and general formula or (In the formula, R is an alkyl group having 11 to 17 carbon atoms) 0.2 to 2% by weight of one or more alkylimidazolinium betaines represented by the formula (R is an alkyl group having 11 to 17 carbon atoms) and 30 to 85% of water
This is an eye makeup remover characterized by essentially containing % by weight. Hereinafter, the configuration of the present invention will be explained in detail. The monoester or diester used in the present invention must have 23 to 28 carbon atoms, preferably 24 to 26 carbon atoms. If the number of carbon atoms is less than 22, it is irritating to the eye mucous membranes and skin, and if the number of carbon atoms is more than 29, the removal ability is inferior. These monoesters or diesters include decyl myristate, 2-octyldodecyl 2-ethylhexanoate, didecyl adipate, propylene glycol dicaprate,
- Cetyl ethylhexanoate, etc. can be mentioned. The blending amount of these is 10 to 40% by weight, preferably 15 to 30% by weight. If it is less than 10% by weight, a sufficient removal effect will not be achieved, and if it is more than 40% by weight, it is not pleasant to the touch. Further, the low boiling point isoparaffinic hydrocarbon used in the present invention is known under trade names such as Isopar and Cielsol. Isopar is an isoparaffin manufactured by Humble Oil and Refining Company. Sielson is an isoparaffin manufactured by Siel Kagaku Co., Ltd. This low boiling point isoparaffin preferably has a boiling point of 240° C. or lower, and its blending amount is 0.5 to 5% by weight. Preferably it is 1 to 3% by weight. If the amount is less than 0.5% by weight, it will not contribute to the removal effect, and if it is more than 5% by weight, it will be unfavorable in terms of odor. Furthermore, the alkylimidazolinium betaine used in the present invention has the general formula or (In the formula, R is an alkyl group having 11 to 17 carbon atoms), and a 50% aqueous solution of this is
It is commercially available from Milanol Company under the names Miranol C2M Conc or Miranol CM Conc. The above-mentioned alkylimidalinium betaine is a type of so-called amphoteric surfactant, but has no irritation to eye mucous membranes, skin, etc., and has an excellent cleaning effect. The amount of this compound is 0.2 to 2% by weight, preferably 0.4 to 1.5% by weight. If it is less than 0.2% by weight, the cleaning action will be insufficient, and if it is more than 2% by weight, it will feel sticky during and after use, which is unsuitable. In addition, the water used in the present invention is
It is blended in a range of 85% by weight. The eye makeup remover according to the present invention has the above-mentioned structure, and has a two-layered liquid-like or emulsion-like appearance. Note that, if necessary, oils, active agents, polymer compounds, fragrances, pigments, preservatives, isotonic agents such as salt, etc. other than the essential constituents of the present invention may be added as appropriate. Next, the effects of the present invention will be explained based on Examples. In order to demonstrate the effects of the present invention, a conventional eye makeup remover was used as a comparative example, and the removal effect and eyelid irritation were compared. Examples Weight % Propylene glycol dicaprate 15 Isocetyl stearate 5 Isoparaffin 2 2-Cocoyl-N-carboxymethyl-N-hydroxyethylimidazolinium betaine 50

Removal effect: A panel of 15 women evaluated the removal effect of each remover on three types of eyeliner (non-aqueous type, film-forming type, and emulsion type) on a five-point scale (5: good, 4: fair). , 3: Fair, 2: Slightly poor, 1: Poor). Eyelid irritation: sample in the eye of a male white domestic rabbit
