リーニングブレートが確実に像担持体の画像領域l】を
カバーできるように構成しであるのが普通である。ここ
で、クリーニングブレートとしては通常ゴム弾性材が使
用され、ポリイソプレン、ブタジェン・スチレン共重合
体、ポリブタジェン、ポリクロロプレン、イソブチレン
・インブレン共重合体、ブタジェン・アクリロニトリル
共重合体、エチレン・プロピレン共重合体、クロロスル
ホン化ポリエチレン、アクリル酸エステル共重合体、ポ
リウレタン、有機ポリシロキサン、パーフルオロプロペ
ン、フッ化ビニリデン共重合体等があり、このなかでも
ポリウレタンが特に好ましい、又、ファーブラシクリー
ニング、磁気ブラシクリーニング等においてもファーブ
ラシ、磁気ブラシが像担持体の画像領域中をカバーでき
