に形成され、終端部3に車体5内方へ向つて突出
するフランジ部6が形成されたバンパ2を、車体
5の前方もしくは後方よりバンパサイド部2aを
外方へ拡開しつつバンパ取付部へ装着し、その
後、ボルト7により締付固定するものであるため
取付作業が煩雑である、という不具合をも有して
いた。さらに、バンパ2が車体に取付けられた場
合には、バンパ2はボルト7により、車体5の前
後方向において固定されて装着されているもので
あるため、車両の軽衝突時においても、バンパ2
に対して働らく衝突荷重がそのままフエンダパネ
ル8にも作用してしまい、フエンダパネル8が撓
んでしまう場合があつた。

部内側にはバンパの外表面となるバンパフエイシ
ヤより前後方向長さが短い挟持片を設け、該挟持
片とバンパフエイシヤとにより上記取付片と挟持
する嵌合溝を形成し、上記取付片先端部と嵌合溝
底部及び挟持片先端部と上記基部との間に空隙を
形成するように構成されている。

8の外方へ突設された基部9aと該基部9aの先
端部において車体前方へ直角に突設された取付片
9bと、フロントフエンダパネル8に形成された
オーバーフエンダ部11の外側に当接するガイド
片9cとからなる。一方、バンパ2の終端部3の
内側には、バンパ端末方向へ向かう挟持片3a
が、フロントフエンダパネル8に形成されたオー
バーフエンダ部11に沿つて設けられた膨出部1
2から、バンパ終端部3の外表面となるバンパフ
エイシヤ13と所定間隔を置いて一体に且つバン
パフエイシヤ13より前後方向長さが短く形成さ
れてそして、該挟持片3aとバンパフエイシヤ1
3とにより上記取付片9bを挟持する嵌合溝14
が形成され、この嵌合溝14の幅lは上記取付片
9bの厚さよりもやや小さく形成され、上記取付
片9b又は嵌合溝14内へ圧入されるように構成
されている。また、上記取付片9bの長さl1及び
挟持片3aの長さl2はバンパ取付部材9の基部9
aからバンパ終端部3の嵌合溝底部14aまでの
長さl3よりも短く形成されている。そして、バン
パ終端部3の外表面となるバンパフエイシヤ13

ることが可能となる。また、車両走行中に軽衝突
事故が発生した場合であつても、衝突時に発生す
る、車体前後方向に作用する荷重を、取付片9b
及び挟持片3aが相対移動することにより、ある
程度、吸収することができる。そして、挟持片3
aはバンパフエイシヤ13より前後方向長さが短
く形成されているので、バンパ2のバンパ終端部
3をバンパ取付部材9の取付片9bに取付ける
際、バンパフエイシヤ13の内面が取付片9bの
嵌合溝14へのガイドとなり、取付作業が容易に
なると共に、嵌合溝14がバンパ終端部3の内側
にあることと相俟つてバンパフエイシヤ13で取
付片9bの外表面を覆つて、バンパ取付部材9は
外側から見えないので、見栄えがよく外観品質を
向上させると共に、バンパ2の取付作業時などに
バンパ終端部3がフロントフエンダパネル8に干

ールアーチ部1に形成されるフランジ部6に締付
固定して使用する場合を例に採り説明したが、第
6図に示すように、フエンダパネル8が樹脂から
なる車両の場合には、上記バンパ取付部材9をフ
エンダパネル8と一体成型することもでき、ま
た、第7図に示すようにフエンダプロテクタ19
と一体に形成することも可能であり、本実施例に
