Conventionally, when manufacturing a coated product from a metal strip such as a steel plate or aluminum plate, the metal strip is first run and a predetermined coating liquid is applied to its surface using a suitable coating means such as a coater roll. A continuous method is adopted in which the coating liquid is dried and baked while being guided to a drying zone in a predetermined heating furnace and continued to run. However, in such conventional methods,
The main focus of the construction of the drying oven is to uniformly heat the front and back surfaces of the metal strip coated with a prescribed coating solution, which may result in different amounts of coating on the front and back sides of the strip. When different coating liquids are applied, it is not possible to control the baking conditions on the front and back surfaces, resulting in a problem in that the baking conditions on the front and back surfaces are different. In order to solve these problems, JP-A-57-
No. 42371 discloses a method in which the inside of the baking furnace is divided into two parts with a running strip in between, so that the atmosphere circulation inside the furnace is divided between the front and the back, and the amount of heating to the front and back sides can be changed. There is.

However, in the method disclosed in JP-A-57-42371, it is necessary to separate the atmosphere inside the furnace using metal strips as boundaries, which not only increases equipment costs, but also causes the strips to be separated by rollers inside the furnace. In catenary furnaces, which are not supported and whose center part hangs down like a catenary due to the action of gravity, it is difficult to precisely divide the inside of the furnace using strips whose running positions are likely to fluctuate. It had the problem that.

In the present invention, a strip coated with a coating liquid on both sides is run in a catenary furnace, and hot air is blown onto both sides of the strip from a hot air blowing section to continuously dry and bake the coating film. In the continuous drying baking method for the strip coating film, by adjusting the amount of catenary, the distance between the front and back surfaces of the strip and the hot air blowing part can be changed relative to each other, thereby controlling the baking condition of the coating film on the front and back surfaces of the strip. By controlling each of them, the above objective is achieved. Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the amount of catenary is adjusted by controlling the speeds of bridle motors on the catenary entrance and exit sides.

In the present invention, a strip coated with a coating liquid on both sides is run in a catenary furnace, and hot air is blown onto both sides of the strip from a hot air blowing section to continuously dry and bake the coating film. In addition, by adjusting the catenary amount (see FIG. 2), which is the amount of drooping of the strip from the conveyance reference plane, the distances between the front and back surfaces of the strip and the hot air blowing part are changed relative to each other. Therefore, the speed of air blowing onto the strip changes, and as a result, the amount of heating changes in opposite directions on the front and back sides of the strip, making it easy to control the baking state of the coating film on the front and back sides of the strip, respectively. Can be done. Further, the amount of catenary can be easily adjusted by controlling the speeds of bridle motors on the inlet and outlet sides of the catenary furnace.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of a Cr-containing semi-organic coating equipment for electrical steel sheets will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings, in which the continuous drying and baking method for strip coating films according to the present invention is adopted. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, a coating liquid is applied to the front and back surfaces of a traveling strip 10 using a coating device 12 such as a roll coater, and then the strip 10 is coated in a catenary type drying and baking furnace 14. The hot air blowing portion 16A, 1 is provided on both sides of the
The present invention is applied to coating equipment for electromagnetic steel sheets that continuously dries and bakes the coating film by blowing hot air from 6B. On the exit side of the drying and baking oven 14, a strip 1 is provided.
Burn-in state detectors 18A and 18B are provided for detecting the coating burn-on state of the front and back surfaces of the printer 0, respectively. This seizure state detector 18A, 18
As for B, for example, the applicant has already filed a patent application in 1980-
93419, which measures the reflectance of the strip surface at at least two or more wavelengths or wavelength ranges and detects the baked state of the coating film from the two or more reflectances can be used. A catenary amount detector 20 for detecting the amount of catenary in the strip 10 is provided at the inner bottom of the drying and baking oven 14. As this catenary amount detector 20, for example, a distance meter that detects the distance from the bottom of the furnace to the back side of the strip 10 can be used. A control device 2 for controlling the amount of catenary according to the outputs of the seizing state detectors 18A and 18B.
2 is a difference calculator 22A that calculates the difference between the burn-in states on the front and back surfaces from the outputs of the burn-in state detectors 18A and 18B, and the actual difference detected by the output of the difference calculator 22A and the catenary amount detector 20. A catenary amount setting device 22B for changing the set value of the catenary amount according to the catenary amount of Speed setters 22C and 22D that control the catenary amount by adjusting the speed of the motor 26
It is composed of. The operation of the embodiment will be explained below. The strip 10, which has been coated with a Cr-containing semi-organic coating liquid on both the front and back surfaces, is moved through a catenary-type drying and baking furnace 14, while hot air is blown onto both sides of the strip 10 from hot air blowing units 16A and 16B. The coating film is continuously dried and baked. The state of the baked coating film is detected by a baked state detector 18.
A and 18B are detected, and the difference between the front and back surfaces is calculated by a difference calculator 22A. The difference calculator 22
If there is an output of A, that is, if there is a difference in the printing state between the back side and the front side, the catenary amount setting device 2
Change the set catenary amount with 2B, and press speed setting device 2.
2C and 22D control the bridle motors 24 and 26 on the furnace entry and exit sides to change the catenary amount. For example, if the back side is less baked than the front side, the inlet bridle motor 24 is sped up or the outlet bridle motor 26 is decelerated to increase the amount of catenary detected by the catenary amount detector 20,
While increasing the distance between the strip 10 and the front hot air blowing section 16A,
Reduce the distance to B. As a result, the speed of air blowing onto the strip 10 changes, and the amount of heat applied to the front side of the strip is small and the amount of heat applied to the back side is increased, so that the baking condition on the front and back sides is made uniform. In this example, the adjustment of the catenary amount is
Since this is done by controlling the speeds of the bridle motors 24 and 26 on the furnace entry and exit sides, the amount of catenary can be easily adjusted. Note that the method of adjusting the catenary amount is not limited to this, and for example, a method of vertically changing the position of the roll provided in the drying and baking furnace 14 is also possible. In the above embodiment, the baking state of the coating film on the front and back surfaces of the strip 10 was controlled uniformly, but the application of the present invention is not limited to this. It is clear that the present invention can be similarly applied to cases where it is desired to differentiate the printing state. Furthermore, in the embodiments described above, the present invention was applied to control the baking state of a Cr-containing semi-organic coating film of an electrical steel sheet, but the present invention is not limited to this.

As explained above, according to the present invention, it is possible to control the baking state of the front and back sides of the strip at low equipment costs without installing separate heating systems for the front and back sides. Therefore, it has the excellent effect of easily controlling the baking condition on the front and back sides of the strip to be uniform.
