Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

In a tower crane in which a tower jib is attached to a tower supported by a crane body so as to be rotatable between an extended state and a folded state along the front face of the tower, the front face of the tower and the tower jib face the front face of the tower in the folded state. A locking member is provided on one of the parts, and a locking mechanism is provided on the other side to lock the tower jib in the folded state by locking the tower jib in the folded state. a lock pin that is slidable between a locking position in which the pin is locked to the locked member and an unlocking position in which it is removed from the locked member;
a lock spring that applies a spring force to the lock pin toward the lock position; a lock release member that manually moves the lock pin to the unlock position against the lock spring;
a pin block member that is in the forward position when the tower jib is extended and prevents the lock pin from moving to the lock position; and when the tower jib is folded, the pin block member is pushed by the locked member and moves to a retreat position that allows the lock pin to move to the lock position; and a spring for applying a spring force to the pin block member toward the forward position.
