A conventional battery mounting device for this type of emergency light has a structure shown in FIG. 5, for example. This conventional emergency light battery mounting device has a bolt 3 protruding from and fixed to a battery mounting surface 2 inside a chassis 1, and a battery holding portion 5 matching the external shape of a battery 4 formed on both sides of the bolt 3. A structure was adopted in which the battery holder 6 was inserted into the center of the battery holder 6, and a wing nut 7 was screwed onto the bolt 3 to fix the battery holder 6 to the battery mounting surface 2.

In the structure of the conventional battery mounting device described above, when mounting a battery, the battery 4 is placed on the battery mounting surface 2, and the battery holder 5 of the battery holder 6 is attached to the battery 4.
, and tighten the wing nut 7 screwed onto the bolt 3 to press the battery holder 6 toward the battery mounting surface 2 to hold the battery 4. Therefore, when attaching or detaching the battery 4, tighten the wing nut 7 each time. The battery holder 6 must be removed from the bolt 3 first, making it difficult to replace the battery.Furthermore, the wing nut 7 that presses the battery holder 6 against the battery mounting surface 2 is manually tightened, making it difficult to tighten. If the force is not constant and the tightening force is weak, the battery 4 may fall off due to vibrations and shocks during transportation, and if the tightening force of the wing nut 7 is too strong, the battery may not be installed in a high place such as the ceiling when replacing the battery. In such emergency lights, loosening the wing nut 7 is difficult and can be dangerous.
