状包装米飯に関するものである。

り出してその海苔でおにぎりを包み込む方式のも
のと、包装されている内方のフイルムを頂角部よ
り引き抜くことによつて、海苔を飯に付着させて
巻き付ける方式のものとがある。ところが棒状の
米飯食品については、その殆んどが前記三角形状
のおにぎりの場合の前者の方式のものを採用して
いる。すなわち、従来は、矩形状の二重フイルム
間に海苔を挿入し、これを棒状につくつた米飯に
巻き付けて包装している。

に分断手段を形成し、この分断手段及び前記帯状
部に沿つた方向に前記海苔入り包装フイルムを前
記棒状米飯に巻き回したことを特徴とする。分断
手段としては、たばことか菓子類の包装に常用さ
れているシール用テープが好適である。あるいは
剥離が比較的容易に行なわれる接着剤にて接合さ
れる接合帯域や、表面側フイルムに刻線されたミ

を包含するものである。たとえば左右分断されて
いる外側と内側の二重フイルムの分断位置は中央

た位置でもよく、いずれか中間位置であればよ
い。この種の棒状包装米飯の製造過程からすれ
ば、第3図に示すように海苔を挿入した二重フイ
ルムを矩形に形成し、これを棒状米飯に巻き付け
て製造するのが能率的であるが、製造方法はこれ
に限定されないから、たとえば左右両方から二重
円筒状フイルムを突き合わせる形の製作方法とす
ることもできる。第3図に示すような矩形状フイ
ルムを巻き付ける場合、巻き付け後の周端につい
ては長手方向に接着しておくのが望ましい。ただ
第3図に示す縁部Eは必ずしも必要ではなく、両
側フイルム1,2が接着されない状態でもよい。
左右両端の絞束閉塞については紐5によらず接着
(融着)させるようにしてもよい。表面側フイル
ムの接合は接着剤で行ないこれを剥離する方式と
することもできるし、表面側フイルムにミシン目
を刻線してその上をテープ等で被覆しておくよう
にしてもよい。
