By the way, in order to give such a profound feeling to the staircase, methods are generally used such as using a material with a deep dark color or painting the surface with a dark wood grain finish, for example.

用いた場合にはこの傾向が著しい。<Problem that the invention aims to solve> By the way, finishing the surface in a dark color like this can be said to be very effective in creating a sense of solidity, but it is not desirable from the perspective of ensuring the safety of stairs users. I can't say that. This is because the surface of such stairs is dark colored, making it difficult to clearly see the separation between the steps and the landing or the upper and lower floors. For this reason, when there is no lighting at night, users may trip over the risers of the steps that touch the lower floor or the top of the landing when climbing the stairs, or may mistake the landing for a tread. It's easy to lose your balance. Furthermore, when descending the stairs, it becomes difficult to see the boundary between the upper floor surface and the step section, or the boundary between the landing and the tread, which increases the risk of injury from stepping off the step. This tendency is particularly noticeable when a material with many lines appearing on its surface, such as laminated wood, is used as the material for the stairs.

In the staircase having a handrail section, a lighting fixture is provided inside the main pillar, and a part of the surface of the main pillar facing the step part is made transparent or translucent.

By using the above-mentioned means, this step joint portion can be made brighter, so that stair users can easily and reliably see this portion even at night.

Since this part can be easily and reliably seen by the stair users, it is possible to prevent stair users from tripping on the steps at night, etc., and to ensure their safety. . In addition, the above-mentioned transparent or semi-transparent parts provided on the main pillars serve as a kind of accent and improve the quality of the entire staircase, which also has the advantage of increasing the high quality value of the stairs.
