Conventionally, in order to stop water and prevent rust at the joints of steel pipes, pipes were connected by welding, and a housing was provided to cover the outer circumferential surface of the welded part so as to have an airtight space with each pipe, and mortar was placed in this space. It is known to fill with water-stopping and rust-preventing materials such as synthetic resin. It is also known to interpose packing between the housing and the tube in order to provide an airtight structure between the housing and the tube.

Conventionally, when water leakage occurs due to a pinhole or the like in the welded part or the pipe body of a steel pipe that has not been subjected to such water-stopping treatment, the above-mentioned conventional technology has been used to prevent water leakage while fluid such as water is flowing through the pipe. Even if plumbing work is attempted, a large amount of water leaks into the space that should be filled with filler such as mortar or synthetic resin, and it is extremely difficult to completely stop water by filling this space with filler. Therefore, a method is generally adopted in which fluid flow is temporarily stopped during water cutoff work, and fluid flow is resumed after the water cutoff work is completed.

Next, the packing 5 is wound around the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 1 so as to enclose the local water stop material 4 that has been applied to the water leakage part 3 in this manner. Packing 5 is rubber
It is made of synthetic resin, etc., and has a long belt-shaped top 5a as shown in FIG. 5c, 5c are formed. The inner width of the top part 5a of the packing 5 is made larger than the diameter of the top surface of the local water stop material 4.
This band-shaped packing 5 is wrapped around the local water-stopping material 4 from the outside so that the local water-stopping material 4 is sandwiched between the lips 5c, 5c on both sides thereof, and is brought into pressure contact with the pipe 1 so that it is in pressure contact with the outer periphery of the pipe. It is wound around the surface and both ends are joined with a suitable adhesive, such as a mixture of instant adhesive and naturally vulcanized rubber. At this time, the top part 5a of the packing 5a is supported flatly, and the packing 5 is made of iron or hard plastic with a diameter approximately equal to the inner width of the top part 5a so that a sufficient pressing force is applied to the local water stop material 4 by the packing 5. It is preferable to interpose a thin hard disk 6 between the local water stop material 4 and the packing 5.

Next, the annular housing 7 is attached to cover the outer peripheral surface of the packing 5. The annular housing 7 is the fourth
As shown in the figure, it consists of a pair of semicircular arc-shaped steel housing members 7-1 and 7-2, and each housing member 7-1 and 7-2 has both sides hanging down so as to match the outer shape of the packing 5. It has an inner shape. Short bolt receiving tubes 8-1 and 8-2 are welded to each end of each housing member 7-1 and 7-2, respectively, so that each housing member 7-1 and 7-2 can be placed over the packing 5. After aligning the opposing bolt receiving short pipes 8-1 and 8-2, tighten both housing members 7- with bolts and nuts 9, 9.
Tighten 1, 7-2. As a result, the packing 5 is pressed against the pipe, and the lip parts 5c, 5c on both sides of the packing 5 are brought into pressure contact with the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 1, thereby secondaryly preventing water leakage by deforming the lip parts 5c, 5c. In addition, the housing 7 is not limited to the above-mentioned one, and for example, the housing 7 can be used for bolt receiving short pipes 8-1, 8-2.
is attached to only one end of each housing member;
The other end may have other shapes and structures, such as a hinge connection, as long as it is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the packing 5 and can press the packing 5 into contact with the pipe 1. good. Further, in the above embodiment, the inner width of the packing 5 is set larger than the diameter of the top surface of the local water stop material 4, but the invention is not limited to this. The diameter may be slightly larger than the diameter of the top surface. In this case, it is not necessary to interpose the hard disk 6 between the packing 5 and the local water stop material 4. Furthermore, although the packing 5 and the housing 7 are shown as separate bodies, as shown in FIG.
Packings 5' and 5' having 5'c, respectively,
It may be provided integrally by baking, adhesion, etc. When the packing 5 is integrally combined with the housing 7, when the housing 7 is of a split type, the packing 5 is also split type, and the connection point at the end is slightly protruded from the edge of the housing, and when the housing 7 is assembled, the packing 5 is It is preferable that the ends of the tubes are well crimped and sealed together. In this case, adhesive may be applied to the ends of the packings 5, 5, or adhesive rubber may be interposed between the packings 5, 5.
It is also possible to improve the airtightness at the joint point 5.

In the method of this embodiment as well, when a water leak occurs, the local water stop material 4 is applied to the leakage part, the packing 5 is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 1 so as to enclose the local water stop material 4, The annular housing 7 is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the packing 5 and tightened to bring the lip portions 5c, 5c of the packing 5 into pressure contact with the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 1, as in the previous embodiment. However, in this embodiment, the local water stop material 4
After applying the auxiliary member 10 for fixing the local water stop material to the top or side surface of the local water stop material 4, and after attaching and tightening the housing 7 to the outer peripheral surface of the packing 5, the epoxy resin pipe 1 is attached. A curable liquid synthetic resin 11 having adhesive properties to both the auxiliary member 10 and the auxiliary member 10 for fixing the local water stop material is injected and filled into the space formed between the outer peripheral surface of the tube 1 and the inner surface of the housing 7. This embodiment differs from the previous embodiment in that.

Auxiliary member 10 for fixing local water stop material shown in FIG.
has the same shape as the hard disc 6 in the embodiment described above, but if the synthetic resin to be filled is, for example, epoxy resin, a material such as an iron plate that has good adhesion to the synthetic resin to be filled must be selected. The auxiliary member 10 not only has the function of simply applying the pressing force from the packing 5 to the local water stop material 4 like the hard disk 6, but also has the function of attaching the local water stop material 4 to the pipe 1 using synthetic resin 11.

As the synthetic resin 11, in addition to epoxy resin, other synthetic resins such as polyester can also be used. The synthetic resin 11 penetrates the packing 5 and the housing 7 and connects to the outer peripheral surface of the tube 1 and the packing 5.
An inlet 12 communicates with the space formed between the inner surface of the inlet 12 and the upper part thereof is screwed to a stopper member 13.
(FIG. 6) is filled into the space. When the filled synthetic resin 11 is cured, it adheres to both the outer surface of the tube 1 and the auxiliary member 10, and the auxiliary member 1
The state in which the local water stop material 4 is crimped to the outer surface of the pipe 1 is maintained through the 0. Also, the hardened synthetic resin 11
has a secondary function of preventing water leakage by adhering to the pipe surface. Therefore, in this embodiment, after the synthetic resin 11 has hardened, the packing 5 is no longer necessary for both the function of pressing the local water stop material 4 and the secondary water stop function. Since the packing 5 is a relatively expensive component among the components used in the water stop method of the present invention, it is economical to open the housing 7 after the synthetic resin 11 has hardened, remove the packing 5, and reuse it. After removing the packing 5, it is preferable to attach the housing 7 to its original position in order to prevent the synthetic resin 11 from being damaged due to direct contact with earth, sand, and rocks. It goes without saying that the packing 5 and housing 7 shown in FIG. 10 and described in the previous embodiment may also be used.

Figures 8 and 9 show a stopper in which instead of providing the auxiliary member 10, a stepped portion or a chevron-shaped portion is formed on the local water stopper, and the local water stopper is fixed to the pipe using a synthetic resin such as epoxy resin. An example of the water method is shown. This embodiment is filled with synthetic resin such as epoxy resin as in the embodiments shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, but instead of providing the auxiliary member 10 for fixing the local water stop material, A step or chevron portion 4b is formed on the side opposite to the tube contact side of 4, and the synthetic resin 1
1 is cured, the layer of cured synthetic resin formed on this step or chevron portion 4b causes the local water stop material 4 to
is fixed to the tube surface. Reference numeral 6 denotes a hard disc made of hard plastic, which is provided as necessary to support the local water stop material 4, and does not have an adhesive function with the synthetic resin 11. In this embodiment as well, the hardened synthetic resin 11 performs a secondary water-stopping function as in the embodiments shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, and therefore the packing 5 can be removed and reused. . It goes without saying that the packing 5 and housing 7 shown in FIG. 10 and described in the previous embodiment may also be used.

As described above, according to the present invention described in each of the claims, it is possible to easily and completely shut off the leakage portion of the pipe without stopping the fluid flow. Very convenient and economical. Further, according to the invention described in claims 2 and 3, the local water stop material is integrated into the pipe by adhesively fixing the local water stop material to the pipe with a synthetic resin such as epoxy resin, Even in the unlikely event that the packing is damaged and loses its function, it will not separate from the leakage area due to water leakage pressure, and as the surrounding area is hardened with synthetic resin, it will be able to maintain a water stop for a long period of time. Not only that, but the expensive packing can be removed and reused after the synthetic resin has hardened, making it even more economical.
