の残留トナーを掻き落し部材によつて搬送ローラ
上に掻き落し、搬送ローラで搬送して収納部乃至
は回収部に落下させるようにしたクリーニング装

ラ6の表面に接触して搬送ローラ6の表面からト
ナーを分離し、トナーの収納部あるいは回収部で
あるトナー溜り2aに落下させるポリエステル等

つても、なお、弾性表層6aの表面が滑らかであ
るため、トナーが滑つて、搬送ローラ6と像形成
体ドラム1の接近している部分にトナーが溜り易
いと云う問題がある。このトナーが溜ることによ
つて起る具体的問題の一つとして、搬送ローラ6
の端部にトナーのこぼれ落ち防止用の堰止め部乃
至は部材を設けていない場合、端部からトナーが
こぼれ落ちるようになると云う問題がある。そし
て、搬送ローラ6の端部にフランジ等の堰止め部
やあるいはモルトプレーン等からなる別部材の堰
止め部材を設けるようにすると、それらが搬送ロ
ーラ6の回転に抵抗を与えて、搬送ローラ6を像
形成体ドラム1の回転によつて従動回転させたり
することが困難となり、また、そのような堰止め

るようなものにあつては粗面6bも金属面として
もよい。また、第3図の搬送ローラ6の金属表層
6cを弾性表層6aとしてもよいことは勿論であ
る。中央部分の表面と粗面6bとは材質に限定さ
