[Prior Art] In recent years, pneumatic toy guns have been used for war games, etc., but the strength of the coil spring that slides the piston is regulated, or the gun is simply compressed air without giving rotation to the bullet. Since the bullet is only pushed out by the bullet, it is impossible to adjust the trajectory of the bullet, and the bullet has the disadvantage that a large flight distance cannot be obtained.

[Summary of the invention] The gist of the invention to achieve the above objectives is as follows:
A trajectory adjustment device used in an air toy gun that fires a spherical bullet, which is a rubber cylindrical part that airtightly holds a bullet within a hard cylindrical part that has a trajectory adjustment member attached so that it can protrude slightly inside. This is a trajectory adjustment device for an air toy gun, characterized in that the rubber cylinder section is partially pushed inward by the trajectory adjustment member.

Fig. 1 is a cross-sectional view of the gun body. A cylinder 1 is provided inside the gun body so as to be able to slide freely in the front and rear directions. A pump head 2 is airtightly fixed to the tip of this cylinder 1. An air nozzle 3 passing through the pump head 2 projects forward from the tip of the pump head 2. A piston 5 that slides forward by the force of a coil spring 4 is built into the cylinder 1. A rubber gasket 5a is attached to the front end of the piston 5, and a trigger 6 is attached to a groove 5b provided at the rear end. A latch 6a communicating with the cylinder 1 is engaged with the latch 6a, so that the position of the cylinder 1 can be fixed in a state where driving force is stored. cylinder 1
A gun barrel 7 is coaxially provided in front of the gun barrel 7, and a bullet holder 8 made of a soft cylindrical rubber member is coaxially connected to the rear end of the barrel 7. A spherical bullet 9 made of, for example, synthetic resin is held airtight within the gun 8. The bullet holding part 8 and the rear end of the gun barrel 7 are connected by a connecting part 10, which is a cylindrical member made of metal or hard synthetic resin. A trajectory adjustment screw 11 is screwed into a part of the connecting part 10 in a radial direction from the top to the bottom in the drawing of the connecting part 10,
A part of the protruding bullet holding part 8 is pushed into the connecting part 10, and the position of this adjustment screw 11 is slightly forward of the holding position of the bullet 9. Note that 12 is a hole for filling the bullet 9 into the gun body from the outside.

In use, the elastic adjustment screw 11 is slightly protruded into the connecting part 10 as shown in FIG. 2, and a part of the bullet holding part 8 is recessed inward as shown in FIG. 3. As shown in FIG. 4, after the piston 5 is moved backward to accumulate the force of the coil spring 4 and the cylinder 1 is further moved backward, a bullet 9 is introduced into the gun body from the outside through the hole 12. And the fifth
As shown in the figure, the cylinder 1 is advanced and the air nozzle 3 forces the bullet 9 into a predetermined position in the bullet holder 8. Then, when the trigger 6 is pulled, the latch 6a is removed from the groove 5a and the piston 5 is moved as shown in FIG.
moves forward rapidly due to the force of the coil spring 4. Therefore, the pressure inside the cylinder 1 increases and is applied to the bullet 9, and the bullet 9 passes through the recess of the bullet holder 8 and flies out through the gun barrel 7.

When the bullet 9 passes through the concave part of the bullet holding part 8, the bullet 9 passes through this concave part because the frictional resistance is large on the concave side of the bullet holding part 8, and the frictional resistance is small on the opposite side. At this stage, rotational force is applied, albeit instantaneously, and the bullet 9 flies out of the muzzle while rotating. In the example,
By rotating the bullet 9 in the clockwise direction shown by the arrow in FIG. 2, the bullet 9 advances while its trajectory is slightly bent upward. In this way, bullet 9
By giving rotation to the bullet, the air resistance is slightly reduced, and the bullet 9 is bent upward, so that the flight distance of the bullet 9 can be increased.

Regarding this, if we assume that the bullet 9 is rotating clockwise and moving to the left, the air density is high at the bottom of the bullet 9 due to air collision.
In the upper part, the air flow is good and the air density is low, so a pressure difference occurs between the upper and lower parts of the bullet 9, and a buoyant force acts on the bullet 9, pushing the bullet 9 upward. It is also well known that a rotating object has less air resistance for the same initial velocity, and this has been confirmed in actual experiments.

The magnitude of the rotation applied to the bullet 9 can be adjusted by changing the protrusion depth of the ballistic adjustment screw 11 into the connecting portion 10. Also,
By changing the position of the adjustment screw 11, that is, the position in the circumferential direction, it becomes possible to select the trajectory direction to be corrected.

It may be attached to a member located outside the bullet holder 8 instead of 0. Further, the trajectory adjusting member is not limited to the screw 11, and any other member can be used as long as it pushes the bullet holding portion 8.

Furthermore, it goes without saying that this air toy gun can be used in the same manner as conventional guns by not protruding the trajectory adjusting screw 11 inside the connecting portion 10 or by removing the screw 11.

[Effect of the invention] As described above, the trajectory adjustment device for an air toy gun according to the invention applies rotational force to the bullet by applying frictional resistance to one side of the bullet when firing the bullet, thereby adjusting the trajectory of the bullet. It also makes it possible to extend the flight distance of bullets.
