ツジ4aで感光体1の表面に残留する未転写トナ
ーや用紙より離脱した紙粉などを掻き落すと共
に、後のエツジ4bではじめのエツジ4aで取り
きれなかつたトナーなどを掻き落すようになつて
いる。また上記クリーニング部材4の取付けられ
た回転軸4cの両端はハウジング3の両側板3b
に軸受け5を介して回転自在に支承されていると
共に、ハウジング3の外方へ突出された回転軸4
cの一端側にはワンウエイクラツチ6を介してラ
チエツト歯車7が取付けられている。そしてこの
ラチエツト歯車7にラチエツト爪体8の先端が引
張りばね14により係合されている。ラチエツト
爪体8の基端部は、ソレノイドのような駆動手段
9の作動部9aとともに揺動リンク10の上端に
ピン11により枢着されている。揺動リンク10
は中間部が支軸12に回動自在に支承されている

向くよう設置されていて、この短辺16b部分で
ハウジング3とシール部材16間の隙間15を閉
塞していると共に、短辺16bはクリーニング部
材4の回転時クリーニング部材4のエツジ4a,
4bが接するようになつていて、これらエツジ4
a,4bにより短辺16bに付着したトナー等が
掻き取られるようになつている。

の押付け力を支持するため、シール部材16が感
光体1側へ強く押付けられて感光体1の表面を損
傷するなどの不具合を解消することができる。ま
たシール部材16の短辺16bでハウジング3と
シール部材16の長辺16a間に生じる隙間1

るのを防止するため、隙間15′に侵入したトナ
ーによりシール部材16の弾性が損なわれ、これ
によつてシール効果が低下するなどの不具合も解
