Claims

In an air cleaner that is attached to the end of a throttle body of an engine, a lower opening that fits into the end of the throttle body is provided in the lower wall of the air cleaner case, and an upper opening that is located on the same axis as the throttle body and has approximately the same diameter as the upper wall. A cylindrical portion that passes through the upper opening and reaches the lower opening is connected to a cap member that closes the upper opening, and a threaded portion provided on the peripheral wall of the end of the throttle body is attached to the peripheral wall of the lower end of the cylindrical portion. In addition to providing a threaded portion to be screwed together, an opening is provided in the peripheral wall of the cylindrical portion to pass therethrough, and the threaded portion of the cylindrical portion is screwed into the threaded portion of the end of the throttle body, so that the air cleaner case is attached to the end of the throttle body. 1.
