[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Industrial Application Field) This invention relates to a unit bathroom, and more specifically, to a unit bathroom having a characteristic wall shape.

(Prior Art) For example, as shown in FIG. 4, a bathtub 102 is installed in contact with a wall surface 100 of a unit bathroom.
The surface shape of the peripheral edge portion of the upper end portion on the wall surface side is a curved surface shape that is curved at a predetermined curvature. Therefore, when installing such a bathtub 102, a joint material is applied to the gap created between the peripheral edge of the upper end and the wall surface 100.
Packing of 04 is performed.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) By the way, the radius of curvature of the periphery of the upper end of the bathtub 102 is relatively large, and therefore the gap between the periphery of the bathtub 102 and the wall surface 100 is also widened, causing joints. Problems such as the filling work becomes troublesome and a large amount of joint material 104 are required.

Of course, there are cases where the joints are not filled because they don't want mold to grow in the joints, but in this case, wide gaps are noticeable, giving the impression that the dimensional accuracy is not good, or giving the impression that the bathtub does not fit properly. In addition to this, other problems occur, such as the tendency for dirt to accumulate in this gap.

(Means for solving the problem) The unit bathroom of the present invention was devised to solve the above problem, and its gist is that the surface shape of the peripheral edge on the wall side of the upper end but,
Sanitary equipment such as a bathtub, washstand counter, toilet tank, etc., which is curved or curved downward as it approaches the wall, is installed in such a manner that the peripheral edge of the upper end is in contact with the wall. In a unit bathroom, a height part of the wall facing the peripheral edge or a part directly above the peripheral edge and along the peripheral edge is formed between the curved/bent peripheral edge and the wall surface. The reason is that the sanitary equipment protrudes toward the side of the sanitary equipment to a position where it enters into the gap or comes into almost contact with the flat upper surface of the upper end and substantially covers the gap.

(Operation and effect of the invention) If a part of the wall surface is made to protrude according to the present invention, and the protrusion part is made to enter the gap between the wall surface and the peripheral edge of the sanitary equipment, will the gap be substantially eliminated? Therefore, the work of filling joints, caulking, etc. becomes easier, and the amount of filling of joint materials, etc. can be reduced.

Furthermore, since the gap becomes narrower, the sanitary equipment fits better on the wall surface even when no joint filling is performed, and the problem of dust and the like easily accumulating in such a gap is eliminated.

On the other hand, if a part of the wall protrudes to cover the gap from above, the gap is essentially covered by the protrusion, so
All you have to do is fill the small gap between the protruding part of the wall that becomes the lid and the upper surface of the upper end of the sanitary equipment with joint material, etc. Therefore, the work of filling the joint material etc. in the same way as above becomes easy, and the joint Only a small amount of materials will be required. In addition, since the gap is substantially covered, sanitary equipment can fit better even when no joint material or the like is filled, and the problem of dust and the like easily accumulating in the gap can be solved.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 10 denotes a tile panel constituting the wall of the unit bathroom, and a plurality of tiles 14 are adhered to a base board 12 in a constant arrangement.

On the other hand, the tile 14 is formed with a convex portion 20 that protrudes toward the bathtub 16 side. This convex portion 20 is
A portion of the handrail portion 22 corresponding to the peripheral edge, more specifically, a portion facing the peripheral edge and a portion directly above the peripheral edge protrudes so as to partially enter into the gap formed between the peripheral edge and the wall surface 18. The convex portion 20 is made to protrude substantially horizontally and continuously toward the bathtub 16 along the peripheral edge of the handrail portion 22.

The bathtub 1
6 is installed, the gap created between the wall surface 18 and the periphery of the upper end of the bathtub 16 (the periphery of the handrail portion 22) becomes narrower, which improves the workability when filling the gap and improves the quality of the joint material. Only a small amount is required.

Alternatively, if such joint filling is not performed, the gap becomes less noticeable, giving a feeling that the bathtub 16 is neatly fitted, and the accumulation of dirt in the gap is also reduced.

It is also possible to reduce the gap between the wall surface 18 and the bathtub 16 by reducing the radius of curvature of only the peripheral edge of the handrail portion 22 on the wall surface 18 side. However, there is a limit to how small the radius of curvature can be due to the molding of the bathtub and the ease of demolding the product (the radius of curvature must be >10 mm), and the wall surface 1
If the radius of curvature is made smaller only on the 8th side, two types of expensive press molds (for example, 20 million to 30 million yen) will have to be prepared.

As shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, the unit bathroom has a drain port 30 for the bathtub 16 when viewed from the washing area 28.
There are cases where the bathtub 16 is on the right side, that is, cases where the bathtub 16 is on the left wall surface 18 with respect to the front wall surface 17, and cases where the bathtub 16 is on the right wall surface 19.
Since the peripheral edge of the handrail portion 22 on the opposite side to 8 and 19 (on the washing area 28 side) is rounded with a relatively large radius of curvature (radius of curvature = approximately 50 mm), the wall surface 1
If only the radius of curvature on the 8 or 19 side is made smaller (for example, the radius of curvature = 20 mm), two types of bathtubs 16 will have to be prepared, and therefore two types of molds for them will also have to be made.
If the radius of curvature of both the walls 18, 19 and the washing area 28 is reduced to about 20 mm, the peripheral edge on the washing area 28 side will become a pin angle, which is not realistic.

On the other hand, according to this example, the radius of curvature of the bathtub handrail portion 22 is relatively large (for example, radius of curvature = 50 mm).
The gap between the handrail portion 22 and the wall surface 18 can be narrowed even when the handrail portion 22 and the wall surface 18 are removed.

Note that the convex portion 20 on the wall surface 18 can be used as a reference for adjusting the height when installing the bathtub 16, which has the advantage of making the installation work of the bathtub 16 easier.

For example, like the tile panel 24 in FIG. 2, the tiles 14 may be arranged only above the upper end of the bathtub 16. At this time, the lower end of the tile 14, that is, the immediate upper part of the periphery of the bathtub handrail 22, is connected to the handrail 22.
1 until it almost touches the flat top surface of the bathtub 1.
The convex portion 26 may be formed by protruding toward the 6 side. In this way, the gap formed between the wall surface 18 and the peripheral edge of the handrail portion 22 is substantially covered from above. Therefore, in this case as well, the work of filling the joints becomes easier, or even if the filling is not done, the bathtub 22 fits better, and it is possible to suppress the accumulation of dirt and the like in the gaps.

In addition to the above-mentioned bathtub, this invention also applies to washbasin counters,
It can be applied to the wall where toilet bowls, small tanks for toilet bowls, and other sanitary equipment are installed, and it can also be applied to unit bathrooms where the wall material is made of FRP. It is possible to make various modifications without departing from the spirit of the invention.
