Generally, as shown in Fig. 1, the receipt issuing device of a cash dispenser, etc., feeds a printing paper 1 made by overlapping two sheets of pressure-sensitive paper and folding it into a zigzag from a paper storage section 2, performs the required printing on a printer 3, and then separates the paper. One of the cards is cut by a cutter 4 and discharged to a receipt issuing section 5 to be handed to the customer, while the other is overlapped on a platen 8 with a card 7 fed from a cash card insertion slot 6 and rubbed by a friction roller 9. After the emboss stamped on the card 7 is printed on a sheet, it is wound up on a take-up roll 10 as a journal and stored.

When loading superimposed printing paper into the receipt issuing device configured in this manner, first the paper 1 is pulled out from its storage section 2 and its lead edge is passed between the character storage section of the printer 3 and the hammer. Separated during operation, one is placed on the cutter 4 and the other is placed on the take-up roll 1 via the platen 8.
Since it was necessary to fix it to 0, there was a drawback that it was not only extremely troublesome but also time consuming.

The present invention has been made in order to eliminate the defects in workability when loading paper into the conventional receipt issuing device as described above, especially when transporting and separating the paper in such a case. Using superimposed printing paper, the preceding lead edge is guided on the transport path of the paper into a separation transport path of the paper that intercepts the path and deflects from the transport path with a small curvature. , the baffle constituting the separation conveyance path is moved from a position where the conveyance path is blocked to a position where it is opened, so that the lead edges of other subsequent sheets are separated and conveyed by utilizing the small curvature of the separation conveyance path. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an automatic separation mechanism for superimposed printed paper.

That is, a paper transport roll pair 12 is arranged in front of the character storage section of the printer 3 and the hammer 11, and a paper separation transport path 13 is further provided in front of the pair of paper transport rolls 12. The paper separation and conveyance path 13 is connected to the printer 3.
and a fixed baffle 14 having an edge with a small curvature with respect to the paper transport path passing through the paper transport roll pair 12, and a movable buffle 15 that can rotate between a position that blocks the paper transport path and a position that opens it.
The movable baffle 15 is biased in the direction of arrow 17 in the figure through its rotation shaft 16, and a rotary solenoid 18 is coupled to the shaft 16.

Further, a pair of paper conveyance rolls 19 are arranged at the paper exits of the two baffles 14 and 15, and a sensor 20 for detecting the separated leading edge of the paper is arranged in front of the pair 19.

Now, the operator pulls out the superimposed print paper 1 with the leading edge of one paper cut off to a required length from the paper storage section 2, inserts it into the paper transport section near the storage section (not shown), and then presses the appropriate start button. When pressed, the paper conveyance path is set to the operating state, and at the same time, the rotary solenoid 18 is operated to raise the movable buffle 15 to a position where it blocks the paper conveyance path. In this way, the print paper passes through a predetermined conveyance path, passes through the printer 3 and the paper conveyance roll pair 12, and reaches the paper separation conveyance path 13. At this time, the lead edge of the preceding paper moves forward along the separation conveyance path 13 and is detected by the sensor 20 through the pair of paper conveyance rolls 19.

When the rotary solenoid 18 is de-energized in response to this detection signal, the moving buttful 15 is rotated by the spring force and opens the paper conveyance path, as shown in FIG. The lead edge advances along the previous transport path. At this time, since the curvature of the edge of the fixed baffle 14 is small, the two overlapping sheets of printing paper can be reliably separated even if they are somewhat stuck together.

In addition, in consideration of the case where separation fails, a paper sensor 21 is also provided on the path of the leading edge of the succeeding paper, and if this sensor does not detect the leading edge of the paper after the required time has elapsed, the device is stopped and inspected. You may also do so.

Further, the paper separation mechanism according to the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and as shown in FIG.
Alternatively, the cam 24 may be used to urge it in a desired direction and move it using the cam 24.

Since the present invention is configured and operates as described above, it is possible to reliably automatically separate sheets conveyed in a stacked state using a relatively simple mechanism, so that it is possible to reliably and automatically separate sheets conveyed in a stacked state. This is extremely effective in simplifying and speeding up the paper loading operation of a receipt issuing device such as a register.

1. In a device that separates and conveys overlapped print sheets, a buffer is provided on the print sheet conveyance path to form a separation conveyance path for the paper that leaves the paper conveyance path with a small curvature, and also constitutes a separate conveyance path for the paper. one of the leading ends of the superimposed print paper is configured such that one of the paper sheets is movable between a position where it blocks the paper conveyance path and a position where it opens the paper conveyance path, so that one of the leading ends of the paper is cut off by a predetermined length. The lead edge enters the buttful and changes its direction of travel, and after separating the lead edge of the following paper at the small curvature portion of the paper separation and conveyance path, moves the buttfull to remove the other paper. An automatic separation mechanism for superimposed print paper, characterized in that the conveyance path of the paper is opened.
