Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 5, this type of corner guard is made of a substrate 3 fixed along a corner portion 2 of a wall surface 1, and made of an elastic material such as a hard resin. A cover 5 is mounted with a gap 4 between the cover 5 and the substrate 3 located within the gap 4.
A cushioning material 6 attached to the cover 5 has been proposed, and the impact applied to the cover 5 is absorbed by deformation of the cover 5 and the cushioning material 6.

In such a case, the cover 5 is attached to the board 3 by bending the cover 5 itself so that, for example, the engaging parts 5a, 5a formed at both ends of the cover 5 are connected to the engaging receiving part 3a of the board 3. , 3a.

In this way, by bending the cover 5 itself, the engaging portion 5
When a is engaged with the engagement receiving part 3a, at a certain stage, the cushion 6 is bent to a large extent because it enters the board 3 side from the position at which the cover 5 was installed, but in the conventional example, the cushion 6 Since the cushion 6 is mounted in a state where it is engaged with the base plate 3, it has the disadvantage that when the cushion 6 is greatly bent, it may fall off from the base plate 3 or be displaced from its normal position. Moreover, even after the cover 5 is installed, a large impact force is applied to the cover 5, resulting in a similar result.

The present invention was developed in response to these circumstances, and is designed to prevent the cushion material 6 from easily falling off even if a large force is applied to the cover 5 when or after the cover 5 is attached and the cushion material 6 is greatly deformed. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a corner guard that does not shift from its normal position.

Hereinafter, means for achieving the above object will be explained based on FIG. 1 corresponding to the embodiment. In addition to actively wearing it,
A gap 4 formed between the substrate 3 and the cover 5
This invention relates to the improvement of a corner guard that is constructed by mounting a cushion material 6 inside the corner guard. The board 3 fixed to the corner part 2 of the wall surface 1 is made of hard synthetic resin, and the corner guard is made of a hard synthetic resin. A cushion material 6 made of a flexible material provided to absorb the deflection of the cover 5 together with the deflection of the cover 5 is integrally molded and fixed on the substrate 3 at the time of molding.

That is, in the present invention, the substrate 3 fixed to the corner portion 2 of the wall surface 1 is formed of a hard synthetic resin, and the cushion material 6 made of a flexible material is integrally molded when the substrate 3 is molded, thereby preventing mutual bonding. This is intended to increase the strength and prevent the cushion material 6 from falling off or shifting.

In this embodiment, the substrate 3 is a long material made of hard synthetic resin by injection molding or extrusion molding, and is formed into a substantially L-shaped cross section to correspond to the corner portion 2 of the wall surface 1. It is fixed over substantially the entire length of the wall surface 1 in the height direction.

This substrate 3 has an engagement receiving part 3a formed by bending both ends thereof outward in a semicircular arc shape, and engages an engagement part 5a of a cover 5 made of an elastic material such as a hard synthetic resin. The cover 5 can be attached elastically, and a bulge 3b is formed at the corner of the cover 5 to further improve the bonding strength with the cushion material 6.

The cushion material 6 is made of a flexible material such as soft vinyl chloride, foamed resin, or rubber, and is integrally formed at the corner of the substrate 3 over its entire length and bulged outward when the substrate 3 is molded. The cover 5 is molded so that the back surface 5b of the cover 5 comes into contact with the cover 5 when the cover 5 is attached.

By forming the protruding plates 6b on the cushion material 6 in this manner, each protruding ridge 6b, 6b... easily bends laterally when the cover 5 is attached, as shown in FIG. It can be easily installed, and has the required repulsion force against the impact force in the direction A in FIG. 3, thereby ensuring impact absorption performance.

In the above explanation, the case where the board 3 is fixed to the corner part 2 of the wall surface 1 from near the ceiling to near the floor has been explained, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the piece-like board can be fixed to the appropriate height. It goes without saying that a plurality of them may be fixed to each other.

As is clear from the above description, according to the corner guard according to the present invention, the substrate fixed to the corner of the wall is formed from a hard synthetic resin, and the cushion material is integrally molded with the substrate during molding. Since it is made of soft synthetic resin, even if a large force is applied to the cover when the cover is installed or after it is installed, and the cushion material is greatly deformed, it will not easily fall off or shift from its normal position, so it will last for a long time. It can be used across the board.
