Abstract

PURPOSE:To bond a large label to a container having a vacuum absorbing surface by bonding the label having a section corresponding to the vacuum absorbing surface coated with a release agent by the in-molding method. CONSTITUTION:A label 20 is applied to a bottle main body 11 of polyethylene terephthalate(PET) resin. The label 20 is formed with a synthetic paper 21 or the like and provided with a printed layer 22 on its outer surface side 20a, while a bonded layer 23 is formed on the rear face side 20b, and the label is bonded with the outer surface of a body section 12 of the bottle main body 11 through the bonded layer 23. A release agent 24 is applied on the bonded layer 23 of the section corresponding to a vacuum absorbing surface 14 of the label 20. The bottle main body 11 is formed by the biaxial stretch blow molding, and at that time, the label 20 is disposed preliminarily in the mold, and the label 20 is bonded by the in-molding method simultaneously with molding. The section in which the release agent 24 is applied and the vacuum absorbing surface 14 are temporalily bonded with just after molding, and as the same is cooled and its volume is reduced, the label 20 is peeled off the vacuum absorbing surface 14, and the vacuum absorbing surface 14 is recessed. The label 20, however, is provided with stretching properties and creases or the like are not generated thereon.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a labeled container in which a label is attached using an in-mold method during biaxial stretch blow molding, and in particular,
This invention relates to a labeled container in which a label can also be provided on the vacuum absorption surface.

When filling containers with these juices, vinegar, etc.,
For sterilization, the container is usually filled at around 60°C or at a high temperature of about 90'C and the container is closed. By the way, if the contents are filled at a high temperature, the volume of the contents decreases as the container cools after filling, and the pressure inside the container decreases, causing irregular distortions such as depression of the container surface. Therefore, in order to prevent such irregular distortions, as shown in Fig. 4, the outer surface of the body of the container 1 has a shape that is partially prone to denting, and is structurally a little weaker than the surrounding area. A vacuum absorbing surface 2, which is a portion, is formed in advance, and this vacuum absorbing surface 2 actively absorbs distortion.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, when attaching a label to such a container l, if the label is attached to the vacuum absorbing surface 2, the vacuum absorbing surface 2 becomes integrated with the label due to the adhesive. It becomes impossible to bend and perform its function. Therefore, it is usually not possible to adhere a label to this vacuum absorbing surface 2.

For this reason, when the vacuum absorption surface 2 is formed on the container 1,
Since the area of the vacuum absorbing surface 2 is large, the adhesion area of the label becomes small, resulting in a problem that the display effect is lacking. In addition, in order to enhance the display effect, there is a problem in that it is necessary to attach a label that takes time and effort, such as a rolled label or a shrink label.

An adhesive layer 23 is formed on the back side 20b of the label 20, and is adhered to the outer surface of the body 12 of the bottle body 11 via this adhesive layer 23.

First, the bottle body 11 is formed from a cold parison by biaxial stretch blow molding. At this time, the label 20 is previously placed inside the gold (not shown), and the label 20 is adhered by an in-mold method in which the label 20 is adhered to the outer surface of the bottle body 11 at the same time as molding.

However, since the release agent 24 is applied on the adhesive layer 23 to the portion of the label 20 corresponding to the vacuum absorption surface 14, the portion to which the release agent 24 is applied does not adhere to the vacuum absorption surface 14. .

By the way, the part coated with the release agent 24 and the vacuum absorbing surface 14 come into contact with the label 20 in a state where the PET resin is almost melted due to the high heat during blow molding, so immediately after molding, as shown in FIG. In this case, they are temporarily attached even without adhesive. For this reason, as the filled contents cool and the volume decreases, the temporary adhesion state disappears, the label 20 comes off from the vacuum absorbing surface 14, and the vacuum absorbing surface 14 becomes depressed.

At this time, since the label 20 is made of stretchable synthetic paper, the label 20 will not be wrinkled even if the vacuum absorbing surface 14 is dented.

In this way, the label 20 attached portion on the surface of the bottle body 11yF can be used as the vacuum absorption surface 14. In addition, the vacuum absorption surface 14 has a three-dimensional structure in most cases, and it is not possible to use a normal label. can be pasted. In addition, in the in-mold method, label 2

It is easy to align the label 20 with the release agent 24.

Furthermore, it is possible to eliminate the step of attaching a label after forming the bottle body 11, which was necessary when using a shrink or rolled label.
