能なシフトレバー本体の側方に、位置決め溝を有
するポジシヨンプレートを設ける一方、前記シフ
トレバー本体に、上方へ常時付勢されると共にポ
ジシヨンプレートの位置決め溝内に臨む上下動可
能な係合体を設け、係合体又はポジシヨンプレー
トのいずれか一方に、前記位置決め溝の上端縁と
係合体との間に所定の間隙を作る弾性部材を設け
ると共に弾性部材の変形時に、前記係合体が位置
決め溝の上端縁と当接し合うことを特徴とする自
