Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily contain plural ultrasonic probes, while contriving the miniaturization by providing a fitting part which makes a containing part formed on at least one face usable and is attached to a part of a device main body, on a probe holder, and providing a part to be attached to which the fitting part is attached, on the device main body. CONSTITUTION:In a probe holder 5, plural containing parts are formed on the upper and the lower end faces 5a, 5b, respectively, and on one face 5a, containing parts 6-8 of a recessed shape formed correspondingly to plural probes (not shown in the figure) being different from each other are formed, and on the other face 5b, containing parts 9, 10 of a recessed shape being different from the containing parts 6-8 are formed in the same way. A cable connected to the probe contained in each containing part 6-10 is inserted through these grooves 6a-10a, so that the ultrasonic probe can be contained surely. In each of four corners of the opposed side faces 5c, 5d of the probe holder 5, a fitting part 11 is projectingly formed, respectively, so that it can be attached to a part 15 to be attached, formed in a console 3, even in the case the probe holder 5 is reversed vertically.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the conventional ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus 1 described above, since the probe holder 2 is fixedly provided on the side of the operation console 3, the types of ultrasonic probes that can be stored are limited. There is a problem. For example, the probe holder 2 can accommodate only two types of ultrasound probes. On the other hand, if the probe holder itself is made larger, it is possible to accommodate multiple ultrasound probes, but
This has the disadvantage of reducing the operability of the keyboard and increasing its size.

The probe holder 5 shown in FIG. 1 has upper and lower end surfaces 5a and 5b.
A plurality of storage portions are formed in each of the storage portions. One surface 5a is formed with recessed storage portions 6 to 8 formed to accommodate a plurality of different probes (not shown), and the other surface 5b is formed with recesses that are different from the storage portions 6 to 8. The shaped storage portions 9, 10 are similarly formed. Each of these storage sections 6 to 10 has grooves 6a to 10 into which a cable (not shown) led out from a part of the main body of the device is loosely inserted.
Cables connected to the probes housed in the respective housing sections 6 to 10 are inserted through these grooves 6a to 10a, thereby making it possible to securely house the ultrasound probes. In the figure, reference numeral 12 is a jelly container into which jelly is applied to the ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving surface of the probe.

In this embodiment, the mounting portions 11 have an abbreviated shape, and each mounting portion 11 is formed on the side surfaces of both end faces.
The open end portion of one end is formed to face the mounting portion 11 on the opposing end surface side. Therefore, even when the probe holder 5 is oriented upside down, it can be attached to the attachment portion 15 formed on the operation console 13.

On the other hand, when using the storage section 9 formed on the end surface 5b opposite to the end surface 5a, the probe holder 5 is rotated in the opposite direction to the above-mentioned direction so that the end surface 5b faces upward. In this case as well, since the attachment portion 11 is formed on the side surface of the end face 5b, the attachment portion 11 is inserted into the attached portion 15 in the same manner as described above. Thereby, a corresponding different type of ultrasound probe (not shown) can be stored in the storage section 9.

According to the present embodiment described in detail above, the ultrasound probe can be appropriately housed while avoiding an increase in size, so that diagnosis can be easily performed in a short time. In addition, since the probe holder 5 can be rotated and the storage section to be used can be placed at an easy-to-use position, it is possible to easily take out and store the ultrasound probe, and to shorten the time required to do so.
