Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the odor that is generated at the time of ignition, etc. in a wick lifting and lowering type burner for room heating in a household by forming a suction channel in the gap of a wick receiving section and sucking the fuel gas in the gap into an oil tank and exhausting the tank. CONSTITUTION:In the gap of a wick receiving section 4 which is formed of a wick guiding cylinder 2 and a wick outer cylinder 3, at least one suction device 4a is provided which has a suction rate larger than other places. The fuel gas in the gap of the wick receiving section 4 is sucked into an oil tank 1 through a suction channel 4a and a suction port 11 of the oil tank 1 by means of a suction means 10 and the tank is exhausted. With this constitution it is possible to reduce the odor at the time of ignition and fire extinguishing.

However, this type of combustion device has the problem of generating odor even during ignition, and since the above-mentioned suction means has reduced the odor during extinguishing, dissatisfaction with the odor during ignition has increased, and a solution to this problem is desired. As a means to solve this problem, a method has been proposed in which the suction means is activated even when igniting, thereby reducing odor.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the above-mentioned conventional device, the core 21 and the core guide tube 18 of the core accommodating portion 20, which serve as the suction path during suction, and the core 21 and the core outer tube 1
Since the gap formed between the cores 21 varies depending on the thickness and diameter of the core 21, the flow resistance of the suction path changes, causing a difference in the suction amount, making it difficult to obtain an appropriate suction amount. The following challenges were encountered: In other words, at the time of ignition, suction is performed during ignition and combustion, and the effect is not obtained by suctioning a unit as in the case of extinguishing, but compared to extinguishing, the wick 2
Since the amount of fuel vaporized from the oil tank 17 is large, if the amount of suction becomes excessive, the vaporized gas sucked into the oil tank 17 may be discharged from the exhaust port 29, producing white smoke. In addition, excessive suction suppresses the amount of vaporized combustion, which slows down the rise of combustion, resulting in poor combustion due to flame cooling, etc., and may even generate odor.

Operation The combustion device of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and by providing a suction path in the gap between the wick housing parts, it is possible to prevent the generation of white smoke due to an excessive amount of suction at the time of ignition caused by a change in the flow path resistance in the gap of the wick housing parts. It is possible to prevent odor generation due to poor combustion or deterioration of odor reduction effect due to too small suction amount, and to stably secure an optimum suction amount, thereby significantly reducing odor during ignition. Further, even when the fire is extinguished, the odor at the time of fire extinguishing can be effectively reduced as well.

The time of ignition is completely different from the time of extinguishing; suction occurs during the process of ignition and combustion, the amount of vaporized fuel increases rapidly, the flame rises, and gradually progresses to stable combustion. However, it is extremely important to set a suction amount that can obtain a sufficient effect without adversely affecting combustion. The amount of suction is determined by suction means I.
This is determined by the capacity setting of O and the flow path resistance of the suction path. Here, the flow path resistance is dominated by the gap formed between the core 5 and the core guide tube 2 or between the core 5 and the core outer tube 3 in the core housing section 4, which is the narrowest part in the suction path. This gap varies depending on the thickness and diameter of the core 5, and the resistance of the flow path changes, causing a difference in the amount of suction, resulting in the same problems as in the conventional example. However, as a result of considering this point, as shown in Figure 2 (a is an enlarged view of the main part of Figure 1, b is a sectional view taken along the line A-A), we found that at least one part of the gap in the lead accommodating part 4 has more suction than other parts. It has become clear that providing the suction path 4a with a wide gap so as to increase the amount of water does not cause the above-mentioned problems and has a large odor reduction effect. In other words, the suction path 4a has a smaller flow path resistance than other parts of the gap in the lead accommodating part 4, and the suction amount is relatively larger than that in other parts. Even if the gap between the wicks 4 and 4 fluctuates, a nearly constant amount of suction can always be obtained from the suction path 4a, which eliminates the generation of white smoke due to excessive suction volume caused by fluctuations in the gap between the wick storage parts and the odor caused by poor combustion. This prevents deterioration in the odor reduction effect due to generation and insufficient suction amount, and stably secures the optimum suction amount, making it possible to significantly reduce the odor at the time of ignition. Further, by operating the suction means 10 when extinguishing a fire, it is possible to effectively reduce the odor at the time of extinguishing the fire.

Peak ■ is a sharp peak and a strong pungent odor that occurs when the flame circulates immediately after ignition. Peak ■ is a relatively gentle peak in the process of the flame rising and gradually moving toward stable combustion, and although it is not an irritating odor, it lasts for a long time, so you will notice a lot of odor. Curve B is the HC generation curve when the suction means 10 is operated at the time of ignition in this embodiment. Peak of curve A ■

Figures 4a, b, and c show other embodiments of the present invention, in which the thickness of the wick 5 is made smaller so that the amount of suction is larger than that of other parts. Of course, the configuration is not limited to this as long as it achieves the purpose and effect.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the combustion apparatus of the present invention has a means for suctioning and exhausting fuel gas from the gap in the wick accommodating part through the inside of the oil tank, and a small gap in the wick accommodating part. Since the suction means is set to operate at least at the time of ignition or extinguishing, the suction at the time of ignition caused by a change in the flow path resistance in the gap of the wick housing part is provided. This prevents the generation of white smoke due to excessive volume, the generation of odor due to poor combustion, and the deterioration of odor reduction effect due to insufficient suction volume, and it is possible to stably maintain the optimal suction volume, reducing odors during ignition. Furthermore, the odor at the time of extinguishing a fire can also be effectively reduced.
