Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the flexible expression of knowledges by setting the meaning of the hierarchy and the meaning intensity to the hierarchical structure of a frame and then succeeding these meaning and intensity in a lower rank frame and at the same time changing locally the meaning intensity. CONSTITUTION:When a knowledge is inputted to an expert system, the relation 'EAT' is secured between A serving as 'SUBSET' of a 'human being' and C serving as 'SUBSET' of a 'sparrow', i.e., 'SUBSET' of a 'bird'. This means that A succeeds the relation of the 'human being' against the 'bird'. On the other hand, B succeeds the relation 'EAT' against the 'bird' with confidence (cf) of '0.0'. Therefore B holds the relation 'EAT' against C with the (Cf) of '0.0'. This means that B has no relation 'EAT' against C. Thus it is possible to flexibly express the knowledges having the meaning as an assembly.

柔軟に表現することが出来るようにしたものである。
