Abstract

PURPOSE:To securely attach a lid member to a cylindrical body so as to seal the body by providing a thick wall part, which has a diameter smaller than an inner surface, on the cylindrical body inner surface at its end and also providing a rib, which engages with the thick wall part, on the attaching surface of the lid member to the cylindrical member. CONSTITUTION:In the developer container provided with the lid member 3 used for sealing both ends of the cylindrical body 1, the thick wall part 8, which has the diameter smaller than the inner surface, is provided on the inner surface edge of the cylindrical body 1 so that it is uniformly distributed on the periphery at the end. プを設けたり、或いは過剰の接着剤を逃がす溝を設ける
こと等の方式も行なわれている。

置した場合にも、同様に相対的に内圧が高まり、蓋部材
が押出され、前記の様な問題が発生する. 〔3)落下等の衝撃によって蓋部材が外れ、大量の現像
剤が漏出すると云う問題があった。特に瞬間接着剤は危
険であり、落下衝撃には弱い。

に引っ掛かり、スムーズに引き抜くことが出来ないと云
う問題があった.又、稀には引っ掛かった弾みで蓋部材
が外れ、本体内に置き去りにされると云う事故が発生す
ることがあった。

小さい厚肉部を該端部の一周上に均等に分布する様に設
け、且つ蓋部材の該薄肉円筒体との接着面に前記厚肉部
と係合するリブを設けることにより、従来技術の種々の
問題点が解決される. その作用を詳細に説明すると (1)薄肉円筒体に蓋部材を挿入していく際には、円筒
体端部の厚肉部により蓋部材と円筒体の間に一定の隙間
が確保され、予め円筒体内側に塗布された接着剤が制限
されつつ引き延ばされて、より広い面積に一定の厚さで
